Muhammad Qasim Ahmed Khan What exactly does ISNA do as an organization ??? As a Muslim growing up in the US for over 20 years...I find it hard to find any personal impact ISNA has provided for me. I think the problem resides within the lack of traditional scholarship ISNA'S board consists of. We need a team of leaders with refined souls to lead the Muslims of America. And i dont really see that with ISNA. Most people on the board try to comform with American values whilst leaving Islamic values. We are facing an identity chrisis as Muslims living in America...and ISNA is confusing the identities of many American Muslims. Id argue ICNA is doing much better work than ISNA is with a smaller team and following. What are your thoughts!??! JazakAllah Khairan

Muhammed Abdullah Some things have more of an impact on someone spirtually than others. Its more to do with ones openness to any form of reminder, however strong or weak. The reminder is simply that, but its qualifyer is how strongly you respond to it with actions.

Narrated from ‘Aishah (ra) that she said, “O Messenger of Allah, what should I say in my supplication if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?” He (ﷺ) said, “Say: ‘اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي‘Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni O Allah, You are Pardoning and love to pardon, so pardon me .'” Sunan Ibn Majah 3850 Vol. 5, Book 34, Hadith 3850 6/5/16

I thank Allah for your lectures
May Allah swt reward Sheikh Hamza, protect him and his family and pour all the possible blessings on them. Islam is and will always remain the right path no matter what their machinations and schemes. The Ummah has to stand firm and confident about that. As for the surat Al Bakara I would recommend to check the tafsir of Iman Nouman Ali khan. I think he's done a very good job. Allah swt knows best though.

"How things are determined and also we have a will at the same time" "Al-Qadar" : can easily be understood if we take Allah out of the equation of time & space. Allah is in the Past, Present and future at the same time which is the most difficult thing to understand as human. Allah's used speed in infinite, so His time is ZERO. Since Allah is already in the future, He saw what has already happened and documented that in a Book that will never change. This does not mean that He could not intervene at any time to stop things or make things happen. The pens are removed and the ink dried رفعت الأقلام وجفت الصحف ". والله أعلم "

9:33 great example is that on 2019 people felt safe and thought everything was in control. End of 2019 Allah sent this covid19 and everybody feels unsafe and lost.
How on earth can I communicate privately with this pure heart ? There are loads of things that i need to add to this genius's knowledge. Given the fact that I am Native Arabic speaker. and been studying the Holy book for ages .

A very good program by Hamza Yusuf . Great interpretation of Lailat -Al kadar and much more . On the Q/A part I believe all answers are in The Quran . It is only a matter of knowledge how one receives it for example “ Whomsoever He will . “ About The word “ He Allows . “ To me “ Allow “ means something being agreed upon. Or granted , but “ He knows “ may be a better word instead. That is because when we read in the Quran “ why did you kill Gods Prophets in the former time . “ we can get that Allah knew that they would do such thing but didn’t agreed and didn’t suggest or allowed them in I do so . It was a test for them if they were believers because they said there were but they weren’t. Also we know that He showed man Two high ways ; The Straight Way and the Open Road. Man is tested from these . Allah documents the believers hearts.
