Same here, it’s just a blessing the knowledge that he was giving. I’m so happy that i I learned English so i can discover great scholars like Chikh Hamza. No KZread to is 60% listening to him.

When I see a sheikh from West, like Abdal Hakim Murad or Hamza Yusuf or Yusuf Estes, my soul is fullfilling with peace and freshness. They are like a stars in a dark night.

Hamza is a well spent time... his humble, gentle soul and his vast knowledge of the Dean- his ability to use logic, science, history and common life experiences as a well timed additional tools for listeners, is a rare quality that makes following his lectures a great investment for any Muslim desire to grow his Iman and knowledge. I feel like this has been my best Ramadan and many of my friends too bc our homes have become our masajid instead of depressing lifeless spaces. No mad dash to the masjid, struggling for parking, dealing with sisters who want to turn all the lights off and pray in the dark and should I go on, lol. I must be an isolationist by my genetic code, but some of us find great solace in isolation.

Assalamu alaikom brother, if you want to know the Ghazali of our time, I suggest you research Mohamed Said Ramadan Al-Bouti. A true scholar of Islam. You need a certain level of arabic mastery to understand him. Allah will guide you to him In Sha Allah. Of course not to undermine Hamza Yusuf. He is a great man indeed.

You won't believe how excited I got when I saw this. I was just hoping for a Ramadan lecture series from him. May Allah preserve him.

I was born a Muslim in West Africa but I didn’t practice Islam until moving to the west and discovering Hamza Yusuf.He opened up my eyes to the beauty of Islam . Its sad to see Sheikh's hair getting a little grey but with age comes wisdom. May Allah preserve him. I really like him, i want to learn from him, i want to carry his books. Sheikh hamza yusuf talks highly of Mauritania and i might end up in Mauritania one day.

I've learned so much from you Shaykh, may Allah reward you for all the efforts you put into spreading this knowledge and experiences.
