I ueed to watch indian songs a lot, almost everyday on KZread. One day, 4 years ago, out of know where, among all those songs videos,there was a suggested video of shaikh hamza yusuf. I don't know why i clicked on it and it changed my life😭😭. I know it was from Allah ,a chance for me. That is why I love this man for the sake of Allah.

Love watching his lectures, I think I speak for many when I say Shaykh Hamza really presents Islam in such a graceful and beautiful manner and he teaches this deen in such a unique way, he has helped change my life so much. May Allah preserve him and may Allah allow us to benefit from him more. Alhamdulilah.

Why on Earth do these videos not have millions of views only Allah knows? Every single Zaytuna video has served to better my spirituality. I’m about to become an unofficial Zaytuna Ambassador and spread the word to every nook and cranny I have access to. JazakAllah Khair brother Yusuf and team.

I would gladly sit for hours to learn at the feet of Sheikh Hamza. Thank you, this was extremely enjoyable and beneficial. May ALLAH (SWT) bless you and grant you many more years on this earth to benefit humanity.

Bismillah. I must express my gratitude for having been (and continuing to be) blessed with the teachings of Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. It has been two years now, since I began learning from his lectures. His eloquence and sincerity are so clear. Shaykh Hamza Yusuf articulates issues that have bothered me from a young age; and he does so beautifully. It is like fresh water that quenches my thirst for knowledge. I would be delighted to be given the opportunity to thank him personally one day and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Alhamdulillah. Ramadan Mubarak.

An hour ago I was thinking I wonder when the thirs part will come out and then logged into this! May Allah give the sheikh life and may he come to Pakistan soon. Ameen

Speaking about the Buddha, I too believe he is a prophet, and this is realization came to me when I had a faith crisis: where I went checking other religions, but none seemed to make sense more than Islam. However, the teachings of the Buddha constantly resonated to what Islam has to say. Hamdullah.

I am grateful for this series. As someone new to the tradition/Faith, my first Ramadan/fast has been a bit of a shipwreck. I am afraid my discipline has not been much without the face to face social interaction. My relationship to God's book has grown, I have completed one read through and have begun another. The beauty and strength of the Message and the Prophet pbuh grows stronger every day. Attachment to prayer cycle has grown much stronger. But this is a tough Faith. And I guess if it wasn't, everyone would be doing it. Anyway. Peace to you all, blessings and thank you to our beautiful Minister Hamza. Peace.

But the joy is in overcoming, and thereby attain, gradually and eventually, nearness to God such that His absence is one's life is immediately felt, and a longing to get back and reattach is intense. May we be among the believers about whom God said they have the most intense love for Him: والذين ءامنوا أشد حبا لله. "And those who believe have the most intense love for Allah... " Qur'an - 2:165

Asalaamo alaykum Brother Michael - May Allah SWT purify our worship, increase it and accept it. May we be granted the blessing of another Ramadan in our lifetimes. Firstly I request you to make duaa for me and my family, since you bring with you to your islam a clean slate. MashAllah. I've never replied to a KZread comment but something about yours moved me. I'm no scholar and a below average muslim born in Pakistan. It took me over 25 Ramadans (post puberty) to read through the Quran once! So dont be too hard on yourself. May Allah SWT give you great opening and victory from His book. However I will pray that you never lose the feeling of inadequacy of your worship. InshAllah may it be the enabler for you to move forward and upward in your connection with Allah SWT and your love for our beloved Prophet SAW. They say a believer must constantly be between fear (that their worship was inadequate) and hope (by His mercy the worship will be accepted). In my own journey I have felt that consistent discipline of worship is rewarded by Allah SWT in this world. Through making us taste beauty, true connection and pure love. InshAllah may you earn the best of rewards. Personally, I think your worship has been accepted as evidenced by the reward you have received in finding Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. If I can recommend a short book titled "Inner Dimensions of Islamic Worship". It has been translated by the late Sidi Muhtar Holland RA as a consolidation of extracts from Imam Ghazali RA's sacred Ihya. This is the crucial difference between someone like Sheikh Hamza, who is linked to the Prophet Muhammad (peace upon Him) through the golden chain of knowledge (sanad), and a self-proclaimed sheikh, who only read from the book. Live long, Sheikh Hamza

Salams, in regards to why the Jews were in Madina, Yasir Qadhi in his seerah series suggests that the Jews fled from Palestine after conflict with Rome (one of their 3 great exiles). Sources indicate they went to Yemen - which is perhaps where the Jews learnt to build their fortresses - and from Yemen settled in Madina. Allah knows best
