There was a woman who came to the prophet Dawud عليه السلام and asked him is Allah swt just or unjust? So he said what’s the reason for the question She said I knit for a living and I sell my knitting at the market and with that money she buys food for her children and herself and more knitting material so she can provide for her children every day But one day I was on my to the market and a bird came and swooped up my knitting and I wasn’t able to feed my children so is Allah swt just or unjust as that bird is acting upon the fitrah of Allah swt it is doing what Allah swt commanded it to do and it has taken my provision As this conversation is taking place some men come in with bags of gold and they drop it infront of Dawud عليه السلام and say this is sadaqah for Allah swt and give it to whom needs it These men where strangers and not known so Dawud عليه السلام asked what’s your story why are you here They said we are merchans who travel by sea and we were on our way across the sea when a storm came and broke the sail of our ship and we where wondering aimlessly with no where to steer our ship and we thought we was going to die so we all made dua to Allah swt “Oh Allah if you get us out of this situation we will donate all this money we have earned” not long after making this dua a bird flew by and dropped some knitting material and knitting utensils and we was able to use those materials to fix our sail and make it to your land so here we are fulfilling our oath to Allah swt Dawud عليه السلام looks at this woman he asks her the same question is Allah swt just or unjust? And he gave all the gold to her. Allah swt bought this for you This is the power of tawakkul. HasbunAllahu wa ni’mal wakeel. ☝️

Alhamduallah may allah continue to guide you on the best path

What’s the difference between Maghfirah (مغفرة ) and 'Afuw (عفو )?* *Maghfirah*: is for Allah to forgive you for the sin but the sin will still be registered on your book of deeds. Maghfirah is Allah’s forgiveness for your sin but on the Judgment Day it will be written on your record, Allah will ask you about it but HE won’t punish you because of it *'Afuw*: is for Allah to forgive you for the sin and delete it from your book of deeds as if it did not happen. ‘Afuw is Allah’s pardon for your sin, it will be completely erased from your record and Allah won’t ask you about it on Judgement day *This is why our Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said that, this is the best Duaa to make on Laylatul Qadr:* اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُعَنِّي *"Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'annee"* (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi) *O Allah, You are The One Who pardons greatly, and You love to pardon, so pardon me.)"* So make sure you read this dua all the time and as much as you can. Make it one of your daily azkaar. In the last ten nights of Ramadan make sure to read this dua abundantly. You don't know which is the night of power. Imagine that you are standing on the day of Judgment being held accountable for your deeds, and you're not guaranteed your entry to Jannah. *Suddenly you find that you have mountains of Hasanat (rewards) in your record* Do you know from where these mountains of rewards come from? Because in the Dunya you kept saying : *”SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi SubhanAllah al ‘Adhim”* _Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:_ *"Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by Al Rahman, (The Most Merciful. One):* سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللّهِ الْعَظِيمِ - *SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)"* (📚Bukhari , Muslim) (Make sure you stick to the dua in the Hadith without any additions..) *Be the One Who Guides Others to Good Deeds.*

Salam alaikum ya sheykh. insha-Allah I'll be 52 years old by July, I've been a practicing Muslim all of my life but sincerely I know I've gone wrong especially in my youth stage but AlhamdulilLah I've been able to hold on firm to my Faith and most especially my fear of Allah's punishment which actually with Allah grace guided me back aright and for the first time in my life I felt deep inside me I've observed the best Ramadan ever. I've listened to a couple of your talks on Islam, but listening to you now I'll like to share this with you that AlhamdulilLah I felt a spirit dashed through me with a certainty that Allah so loves me me and is guiding me. Narrated from ‘Aishah (ra) that she said, “O Messenger of Allah, what should I say in my supplication if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?” He (ﷺ) said, “Say: ‘اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي‘Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni O Allah, You are Pardoning and love to pardon, so pardon me .'” Sunan Ibn Majah 3850 Vol. 5, Book 34, Hadith 3850 6/5/16

Who is listening in Ramadan 2020

I saw also a dream in 2016 after I prayed wetre and I slept for while waiting for fajr pray. I saw the sky was shining with goldish sparkle. Soon after the Eid I forgot which day it was but I doubt if it was 25th or 27th.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azeem [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection]'." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

1 of things I learned from this lecture is, please correct me if I'm wrong: Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: Suhuf (the scrolls) of Prophet Ibrahim alaihi salaam was revealed on 1st of Ramadhan. Taurah was revealed to Prophet Musa alaihi salaam on 6th of Ramadhan. Zaboor (psalms) was revealed to Prophet Dawood alaihi salaam on 18th of Ramadhan Ingeel was revealed to Prophet Eesa alaihi salaam on 13th of Ramadhan Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad sallahu alaihi wasalam on 24th of Ramadhan Authentic Hadith ibn Hibban Al Qadarani
