You say that you're "not a great storyteller" like some of the other YTubers, but I like that. It's like hanging out with a buddy and they're telling you some cool shit they discovered\learned. You're unpolished (in the most positive way), but personable. You go to the locations, you're honest in what you do and don't know; it's refreshing. Thanks for doing what you do :)
I’m sure you have a long list of places to visit, being a fan of Unsolved Mysteries and the late great Robert Stack. You did a nice job on this one, as usual.

I lived near Circleville as a teen, that place has some mysteries for sure. We moved there from Springfield, Ohio not long after two classmates of mine were murdered by a serial killer on August 22, 1992. Every town has an ugly history or a crazy story! Just nuts, man

Same here. First time I have heard about this. And I have watched a lot of crime programs. However, being realistic here, there's not one person who knows and/or is even aware of every single crime that has been, and still is (sadly) being committed, so being factual is keeping me knowledgeable. I am so glad I watched this video because for one, I have now just learned about another sad, yet unsolved case with a lot of mystery surrounding it, and for two, the fact that Lemont presented it made it all worthwhile. Thank-you for another great video, Lemont, I am a new subscriber now, and am always interested in watching each of your presentations, I am learning so much! I have a lot of catching-up to do, but it's okay, I have finally found a great channel that is actually worth watching, for once. Thank goodness, because I am very peculiar & there's way too many channels that are so ridiculously annoying....i.e. too loud-mouthed & obnoxious narrators while louder stupid music is playing, these wannabes are everywhere now, and honestly are a such a joke right from the beginning, it's cringy to see that they can't be taken seriously at all, it's a waste of time because they go off-topic to such irrelevant stupid stories about themselves, reaching way too hard for clout. That's when I say bye-bye asap, after I feel a headache coming on! lol How embarrassing for them. Thanks again, Lemont. I've told my family & friends about you and let me just mention, that they are not one bit disappointed. And they subscribed. I have a big family, so there you go! You deserve it. Much appreciated. ✔👏😊

I think 20/20 or dateline,or 48 hours just done a show about this. They put a man in prison for it. But they was never sure if he done it or not. Everyone involved is really old now or dead.
The music and Robert Stack voice on unsolved mysteries used to scare the living you know what out of me too Actually it’s still does lol
I wonder if it was Mary's sister, it would have to be someone close to Mary to know what she was up to. But what a scandal to go to the man who you were accused of having an affair with.not long after your husband passes away I loved unsolved mysteries when I was growing up, I still remember this one creepy episode that freaked me out where you hear this person say i'll give you a ride.

The one with Mr. Telly. I know that was creepy for sure.
I remember this story on Unsolved Mysteries, Robert Stack had the voice to pull off this kind of show. I Loved him on it. I remember Paul's interview he was believable, but here are believable liars out there. I also thought Mary's sister as well, then you do this video and it just blows the mind it was never solved. Even at times I thought Paul and Mary were lovers and he was scorned or had an infatuation with her to much. Than I thought maybe the sister was setting up Paul to make it look like him. But this was years ago I watched this. Now hearing it in your format Was it REALLY Paul? And WHY was he being harassed to the point if doing what he had done. Ronald was an innocent in all this and he ended up dying. Always wondered did he die at his own hands? Was he shot did someone tamper with his car? You did a AWESOME JOB Lamont retelling this sad story. Robert Stack would be proud👍Take Care and Keep On Keeping On Lamont🙏
@JRollins-qv6pn

It was definitely Mary or her sister. They did a great job of pinning it on the men. The booby trap let's me know Ronald was likely setup for his death. Mary was conveniently on vacation during the time too.
I remember this story on Unsolved Mysteries. I’m 42 and watched it faithfully with my mom. I loved that show. Robert Stack reminded me so much of my dad. I still have reason to believe it was the sister who wrote the letters.
I have no idea if Paul Freshour was the Circleville writer, but this story always intrigued me. I hope one day it comes to light who was doung it. Thanks, Lamont. Its a shame you didn't do anything in Charleston this time around. We have some pretty good mysterious stories you could cover. Go watch "mysterious west virginia" channel. You could get some good ideas for videos. There's one that happened a long time ago about a beating death. It happened close to my street growing up. Her name was Juilet Staunton Clark.
Hi Lamont. Love hearing all the stories you do for us, even though they are sad. If you didn't share them myself and others wouldn't know about them. I live in England so I'm greatfull for you sharing them 🙂👍
Hi Lamont, I hope you are well and staying hydrated 🙂. Thanks for sharing this very sad sorry. My family always watched Unsolved Mysteries, loved Robert Stack. I remember watching this episode. Hello Lamont. Stay safe.
Oh no! Once the letters kept coming while he was in solitary they should have let that man out of prison. I believe him then.
First time I heard about this. I've lived south of Ohio for 51 years now and just learning so many stories from Ohio. There was a nursing aid that killed a bunch of patients on the other side of Ohio. The hospital is closed now but it was big news. The man's name was Paul Harvey and he was finally caught at Drake Hospital, Cincinnati. Surprised me to find his first kill was in Kentucky. They called him the "Angel of Death".

I really appreciate your unscripted storytelling. True crime channels will sit in front of their cameras and pretend to be having a chat about old and new crime stories with a few close friends. But it's obvious they're reading a script so it just comes off as cheesy to me. Your channel is truly a breath of fresh air. Really Lamont, when the screen went to black, thought my phone was dead, again. Then you started talking---I almost jumped out of my chair. I really enjoy your videos; the time and effort put into each one shows. Who was the Circleville writer? The person least expected? Mary. This way, she tells on herself to relieve any guilt, through the letters, upsetting her husband. The school principal makes the call to John, challenging him, knowing he would loose his temper. Hides and waits for John at the arraigned place, gets him to fire the gun. John, thinking he has shot him runs scared. The principal runs him off the road, problem soled. Wow, I think I could almost be a crime sluth. LOL, peace out.

The case of (if I cant have her nobody can) . A stalker, manipulator, cunning person ,who was secretly in love with Mary . And was very determined to stop anyone who got in the way. Guilty: It was too coincidental not to think it wasn't Paul . He was to perfect, and a little creepy . He could have been ambidextrous and have two styles of writing with out anyone knowing . They do say psychopaths are silent within some families .
I got so excited to see you right here in town l hit the send button way too soon. This is great! Your the greatest

I've driven across this country many times and I love seeing all the little towns. I love to listen to you talk...I love your voice. As for the letters, as soon as you said there was a family meeting and the brother-in-law was there, my little voice said, "He did it." I don't know if that's true. Just my feeling. No facts, no proof.
I love this channel keep up the great work‼️
I’m wondering if the superintendent was infatuated with Mary? Maybe it was him that wrote the letters to break up Marys marriage and he then would be the shoulder that Mary cried on…
