People are just savage, cold and solipsistic in the sense of “there’s only me and no one else matters”. It didn’t matter what her profession because I guarantee you that if you interviewed some of her patients, they would have a story to tell you that would probably shock you. @@sinister1891 I’m proud of you! The only incident I can share is a silly neighbor kid once shot his mouth off and other kids came to me because he was going to be gunned down after school in a drive by. Don’t ask me how but I started praying and by Gods grace I spoke to the gang lord on the phone and pleaded for this kids life. I teach Ccd and work with teens. One of my kids said “there’s nothing you or anyone can do “. I told him I had more trouble with his lack of faith than the kid that wasn’t taught better. The kids mom wouldn’t listen. She was never involved in his life. I spoke to the principal and he wasn’t sure he could provide any help. By Gods great grace David’s life was spared that day. A year later he’s in jail in Arizona. I got a call from the prison. The gentleman asked if my son could visit him and he said “you and your family have been the only positive influence in his life “. I did send my so. With the gift of a jacket. It was Christmas time. We lost contact and I pray that he too found a better path. I’m still in touch with a lot of my former students and I consider them family. I hope you sharing will help someone else. God bless you!

I remember when this happened. Horrible, I just don't understand the total disregard for human life. One thing I can tell you about that nurse, she may have not got what she deserved but she will never be able to work as a nurse again! Still not enough punishment but at least her ability to make a living has been destroyed!

From 2015-2017 I used to play basketball across the street from where the first murders took place. Once that happened, I stopped playing basketball over there. I was on the phone with an ex gf of mine who lived in Brentwood like 5 minutes from the high school. While we were on FaceTime without our knowledge, someone was being beaten to death with a metal object outside her house. They wake up the next day go outside and see the body. It was rumored to be an ms hit.

The gang started coming to the US during the ElSalvador civil war. They were allowed to enter because of threats to them. They were placed in communities spread out across the US. They then started a chapter there. I spent the ‘80’s down there in the military. The US is responsible for them being here.

Yes and no, they fled the war and violence back home but the gang originated here in response to being victimized/preyed upon by the Mexican gangs and once the government decided to deport the gang members convicted of criminal charges they really only succeeded in exporting the recruitment process. The problem mushroomed afterwards with some deported criminals sneaking back into the US and other individuals staying under the radar in order to setup a new base or chapter if you will in new areas of the country. After initially starting in L.A. They're now in just about every state across America.
