Brody's learning the ropes!! Before long, he'll be ready to tackle everything that needs to be done and then some. Sharp Boy 👦 ❤
Man I'm a trapper and tanner myself and am big on trap triggers. When y'all get a hog, maybe you can show us your trigger better and I'll share a trap I learned in Louisiana. Bury a 55 gallon drum on a 45 degree angle sticking off the ground about 8 inches. Grease the walls with Crisco and put corn in the bottom. Finally pour an old stale hot beer on the corn. They called it a Slidell Sow Saloon.
Nice to see how ur setting up the hog trap with 3 generation helping there eh! Good luck with getting some hogs and gators... Thanks for sharing... I find ur videos calming and helpful on getting my life centered
That boy is growing like a weed! God Bless you and your family!
Cool Justin . We have a local restaurant named the happy Hog . Good luck with your project
Hey Justin! At Brody's age there is just something magnetic about puddles & mudholes! Ol' Roscoe seemed pretty interested as well! Wild hogs can be very destructive... and they can give rabbits a run for their money when it comes to breeding. So... I hope you catch one or two of them. Ham & Bacon anyone?! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! The Squirrel looked just as surprised as you guys when you came across him. He sure was motivated to get out of there ASAP! And with Brody running after him... who could blame him?!

That squirrel dont know how blessed he is
Speaking of hides. Ive 2 out of 3 hides dried and stretched. 1 to go. Hands have a tuff time pulling after about 6 hrs...
Good luck catching pogs!
This was a great video from beginning to end! I really enjoy seeing how you live. You're definitely the real thing! Amos Moses a.k.a Brody is growing like a weed! He's really getting to be quite the little man. It's so beautiful to see three generations setting up the hog trap together. That's some great memory making quality time right there! It's pretty striking to me how similar the Mississippi and Louisiana cultures are. I'm in west central Louisiana and like I've said before, if I found out we were related, it wouldn't surprise me one bit! 😅 Good luck on the alligator permit!!! Hope you get it! Looking forward to those alligator videos!! ❤

I sure hope so
Good luck with the pigs and the gators.
We do the same here in Guam 😅 They're a huge nuisance especially eating up gardens. Once Ed caught one and decided to raise it for a bit to clean up it's system then he and the guys butchered it.....cleanest, tastiest meat.
I going to try some of that boudin.
That place looks familiar where y’all set the trap lol. Hope y’all get em but if they won’t do right holler at me. And I have a guy that’s tanning a fox and coyote for me that I got this past winter. That squirrel looked like me after supper, just laying down and resting. Good one man.
