Anything we tinker in is pleasing to God our Lord, provided its not stupid. You enjoy your projects. I am having fun making salves with Dandelions, Cheyenne and other blessings from the Lord. Staying busy is part of life and the younger generation needs to learn this so teach on brother teach on!!! Just because it's not AI don't mean it's not worthy. The older folk knew some stuff.

Cool! I love cedar. My people have a story about how a bunch of our people died thinking we could do better than God. The story says that when we realized our folly, and God restored everything, He was so saddened by the loss of life he turned all the dead people into a new tree...what we know today as the cedar.

Hey Justin: In my opinion, you approached this in the common sense way? I've tried making spoons like the "pros" on KZread, but I always end up chewing out through the lip or edge of the bowl. You eliminated that possibility by doing the bowl first THEN cutting the profile, kudos to you. That's Swamp ingenuity.:~)))) LOVE these kinds of videos, your makin' things videos. Hey Justin! Just doin' it the way you like to do it! That "Paul Bunyon's Teaspoon" stirring spoon will make a fine addition to your Outdoor Cooking gear... and the best thing will be that you can say, "I made it myself!". Can a matching Ladle be far behind?!

Back when my kids were very young I'd carry a wooden spoon just about everywhere for bottom education purposes. Diaper bag, in the car, purse etc.... I believe I only used it 2 or 3 times and I achieved mastery. My youngest would always say....Mommy, poon, poon and motion to smack his behind. There was 1 public display of the tantrum variety and the "poon" solved that right quick. Never had a recurrence after that.

Many of my wooden cooking utensils are made of bamboo. I've also heard Guava Wwod is good for these things.

If I was to ever set out to make a spoon, I would do everbody that might eat with me a big favor and make my stirrin spoon just a skosh wider than my big mouth. That way, I couldn't joog the whole spoon in my jaws when I decide to taste somethin that I am stirrin up. It would end up with Tomcat slobber on it anyways, but at least the whole spoon wouldn't get gnawed on

thats all i carry in my campin box is wooden or bamboo spoons n spatulas fer cookin that way if ya lose one ittl go back to nature iffn yer granny wants to borrow that spoon ya best run especially iffn ya been a lil contrary lately
