No; he was trained to service humans which is a gross miscarriage of humanity. Now; there ARE those that need a service dog but it has gone too far. Needing an animal because you are a weak crying individual is abuse to the animal. Having the animal at your beck and call to feel 'good' doesn't do anything for your affliction where as a seeing eye dog DOES do something for the blind. I am against cop dogs too, pure BS.

Special, really special! As an introvert & loner myself, I understand Samsons awkwardness. This has put such a huge smile on my face, my jaw is aching. The world may be full of different species, but love & friendship really binds us all together. Well done Cleo, & Samson, you've made my day.

as a puppy he may have received mixed signals, obedience and discipline over joy and play. Sampson found joy in his little buddy. Good parents, thanks for your care

I have always looked at pets in general as slavery especially service dogs. However not much I can do about it except hope for good parents. I think the owners in this video are pretty caring. @@camila8193

I remember seeing one of these stories where a family went to adopt a kitten/cat from the shelter and took the dog along. The dog found the perfect kitten and the kitten liked the dog. They made their own match. Apparently the shelter workers and volunteers had never seen anything like it before.

This is the real life version of Pixie & Brutus!! So wholesome ❤️❤️❤️

Really enjoyed this so much❣️ Sampson was looking for a special energy and it wasn't in his fellow canines. How wonderful of you to pay attention to what he needed to bring him out. Sometimes in life, what is needed comes wrapped in a TOTALLY unexpected gift wrap. The UNIVERSE always knows BEST how to deliver not just a gift, BUT the RIGHT one. I completely understand. My Bella is a big 80 pound dog. I wanted to get her a companion. A neighbor cat and she loved playing together. They moved away. So I got her a kitten, Scout. The love each other. They don’t sleep together, but they play, chase and Bella thinks she is Scout’s guardian. It’s so sweet seeing them chase each other when they’re outside. Thank you for realizing that Samson needed a companion. ❤

So wholesome. Samson desperately NEEDED a friend to bring him out of his shell. The moral here is: never underestimate the power of true friendship & connection, both between the same species & also across different species . This applies equally to us humans as well. Cats bring out the best in me just like Samson! 😊 There's almost nothing cuter than a dog and cat duo like this. My dog used to hunt behind the TV if we watched kitten videos where they're meowing, so we adopted him a kitten of his very own. Needless to say, they were inseparable.

Ahh I m happy Samson has a friend. My cat Cleo passed away a few months ago so when I heard kitty was called Cleo it brought a little tear to my eye 😢

Some things just make sense and that's what Cleo and Samson do. Best friends always

I don't know how puppy raisers can decide what the right amount of dedication is. Most of the time they get a good balance but sometimes they get overly trained (not to be distracted). I'm glad Samson found himself while still able to perform his job.

I totally get Samson, I have been a human equivalent to him my whole life. Animals have always got me and two dogs and four cats have been wonderful companions to me throughout my adult life. Thanks for the wonderful story of Samson & Cleo.

Honestly, I can kind of understand why he has a hard time realizing when it's time to play and when it's time to work... It must be hard for working dogs like that. So glad he found a best friend!
