I found a new born kitty up under my bushes. Raised him with 4 dogs. He really thought he was one of the dogs. We lost him this year. It truly was the cutest thing I have ever experienced with animals. Love your story.

I adopted an 18 year old cat when my friend passed away. I was really worried about her learning to live in such a different environment. Especially cuz she was an only kitty. And I have many very friendly kitties that never have enough friends. She really settled in quickly. And excepted all the kitties quite nicely. She was 20 years old when her body and loneliness for her daddy took her to the Rainbow Bridge. She had a great life.

Blessings to you! Two feral kittens showed up on the porch. We already have 7 rescue dogs, but what the heck. We have 9 mouths to feed now. Cats and dogs are the best! Save mammals!

​@@pyeyoung8095 I used to go to a vet out in the country who had a great Dane that hung out with the clients. He told me she wanted to be pregnant so badly but for kittens. She sworn everyone of them tht came in tht door Belonged to her... it was sweet but sad.. ... I had so many cats tht carry stories. But one loved my dog so much and always tried to sleep on her back. My dog was so nervous you'd watch her slowly slide out from underneath him. And yet tht same cat as he grew up would run after any dog and keep going lk you see the ones who save kids from an attack. But a person sit on my couch and he would jump on their lap gentle approach their face, turn his head sideways and try to french kiss them.. yup... that's a long story... he sleep on my shoulder every night. I slept on my side. And my husband would say. That dang cat don't let me get near you. Yes, I miss him dearly

I'm sad it's been a tough one for you today. If it's ok, I send you a hug and a lot of love. I hope you know God's not forgotten you. I remember thinking I was being punished or abandoned. I don't have all the answers on the horrendous suffering we have to endure, but something my pastor told me that helped was that Jesus promised healing. Our healing will either happen here or in Heaven, but it will happen if we trust him. It made me less anxious and more hopeful. Maybe it will help you, too. But if not, I pray for peace in your entire being and for you to be able to embrace joy and hope wholeheartedly. ❤ We'll be ok

I don't know why, but ginger cats tend to be quite outgoing and adventurous. The ones that I was chosen by were the sweetest personalities who liked everyone. We used to joke that they would insist on pets from burglars.

Its offensive to Merlin to refer to him as a cat. Merlin now identifies as a dog and therefore needs to be adressed using the trans-species pronouns "dog/canine/puppy/doggy"

I had a Calico cat that I named 'Spot'. I rescued her as kitten in 1981. She couldn't have been more than 4 weeks old when I found her abandoned at a grocery store. She loved me so much that when I went swimming in a swimming pool, she would cry for me. I could call her and she would get in and swim over to me. I bathed her in the bath tub once a month with no fussing or fighting. Marlin in this video reminds me so much of her! I've had many cats as pets during my life. Spot will always be "The One". I miss her so damn much.

It's like he adopted their pack mentality as well as everything else. This is so sweet ❤

A lot of people claim their cat is "dog-like" but they are usually just referring to friendly social and needy cats (which are all normal traits for cats BTW). But their beautiful kitty Marlin REALLY IS dog-like. He literally thinks he's just like his doggy siblings and I'm here for it!!

I think cats have a wide spectrum of personalities, but in my experience, boy cats raised securely since a kitten are usually more “dog like”/More likely to play fetch, succumb to the zoomies, and just not take themselves too seriously.

Whenever an animal shows any type of intelligence, "OH MY GOD, IT'S LIKE A DOG" no..its like any other animal yall just treat them all differently for some reason. Evertime I see someone give a specific animal more attention then would typically and the animal starts to reciprocate that bonding and learning they're all shocked everytime. Animals deserve more credit than it's like a dog. (My opinion no one asked for)

He’s learning to live!! I love it! I’ve befriended twin mini panthers that were born at the scrapyard. Once they realized the love and security was inside and with the two legger sand other four loggers, they’re down! They’ve even gone on a weekend excursion and totally took advantage! Live life little cat!!!!

So fun to view🥰. I really enjoyed this because I don’t get to see adventurous domesticated cats. I’m just use to the ones who stay house bound. I always feel that cats would feel so great if they have the privilege to have outdoor walks or adventures like dogs.

This all depends on where you live. In the UK, it is normal to let your cat roam free. In places like Turkey and Japan, they have places where feral cats just roam free.

@@toolbaggers Sure. They live shorter lives, but most owners seem happy with that trade off. I wanted my cat (from long ago) to be indoor/outdoor but he brought home fleas. Lots of them. It became impossible to deflea the house or the yard, and they were biting us, not just the cat. So he became an indoor cat.

I feel the exact same way. I always find it so ironic how cats are always so curious and want drama and many are so bored in the house, and yet they mostly miss out on the exciting world out there due to their fear. We can now see by this, and many other stories on adventure cats out there, that depending on their temperament and how they are raised, many can lead lives full of fun and adventure!

Love that you called him "Bubbas". That's my nickname for our cat. :)

There are some breeds of cats that actually like the water. Maine Coon, Manx, American Shorthair, and Bengal Cats to name a few. Even wild cats like Tigers like to swim on a hot day!!!

I have a five month old exactly like the cat in the video. I never knew a cat could be so affectionate, fun and compassionate.. He's my personal trainer now. Instead of running he hops like a rabbit on all fours because I can' t keep up with him. He sleeps on my pillow but makes sure that I have enough room. Truly adorable.

The wall ilike a scratching post for him - he ran up it about ten feet. So cute. A little chubby now ; it's winter. You should get one.

Omgosh...he is SO darn cute!!! Since you got him so young, he imprinted on the dogs, as if they were all his parents. He watched everything they did - like kittens normally do with their mamas - and he just did everything they did as if that's what was supposed to happen. It was so cute when he was digging that hole in the sand, but he kept looking up to see if he was doing it right. I just love cats so much. They are each so unique, and sometimes they will learn these truly amazing habits that make you sit back and watch them in awe. Your little guy is one of the best I've seen. My cats love my dogs too. When one of my cats was a tiny little kitten about 4 weeks old, we started letting him and his brother wander about the house a bit. Our dogs were locked up in our kitchen with a gate, and this kitty found his way to the gate, sat in front of the corner of it and just watched one of the dogs. My dog was extremely curious about the kitty too. He would sit there for so long, with my dog going back and forth to see him every few minutes. The kitty finally got the nerve to squeeze through the bars on the gate, and my dog - who is normally off the wall hyper - would just follow him all around my kitchen. He was, and still is, so gentle with him. They've become the best of friends.

Marlin is proof we are a product of our environment, even animals. We learn to adapt and mimic and there is nothing wrong with that. This has been the core essence of our great nation since the beginning.
