Agreed. I'd go a step further and say calling it a miracle is an insult to everyone that put themselves aside to make it happen.

The care given him was absolutely top notch. Just give great credit to the vets. Vetinarans have a very high rate of depression and even suicide due to seeing so very much neglect severe illness injuries and unnecessary death. Praise be to these people and these vets

Salute to the rescuers for believing and giving a second chance to this wonderful dog. True resilience.

I'm a crusty ol' 60 year old man, and seeing Jake's condition when he was first found absolutely broke me. Seeing his miraculous transformation warmed my heart! Thank you for sharing this!

I saw a comedian talk about his wife's hobby as: "she likes to go online, and watch videos of disabled cats and dogs and cries over them. That's her hobby. I'll come home and she'll be like 'look at this poor thing! He's beautiful!'. That's her hobby now. " and i felt very called out by that! Haha

As I am setting here with tear in my eyes, I feel so happy and so mad. I love my animals, dogs and horses. I cannot believe that people would let an animal get in that shape. To to be honest, I think I love animals more than humans. They don't lie, break your heart, only occasionally steal from you ( house shoes, dinner left on the counter) but all in all , animals are far more noble than humans. Thanks to those that saved this dog. I believe he will be their best friend forever!

Yeah, me too. I wish I were in a position to adopt another dog. Mine passed away a few years ago after 16 years, sure miss her. These videos make me cry, but I can't stop watching them.

This sweet baby deserves all the love. I'm glad he's safe now. Dogs truly are incredible creatures.

While this story has a lovely ending, it makes me so mad that anyone could let an animal get to the horrific condition that Jake was in when he was found and rescued. Big thanks and hugs to everyone who pulled together to help this beautiful, sweet boy. ❤

@@miked815 My wife and I bred, sold and helped to rehome Huskies for years. You're right about them being escape artists, but they are also one of the most frequently abandoned or surrendered breeds of dog. Many people get a husky because they like how they look, without doing proper research. Huskies require a massive amount of exercise when they are young. Otherwise they will act out and often destroy property. As they age they are notorious for developing certain medical issues that can be very costly to address. Mainly hip problems and damage to the ligaments in their hind legs. Huskies have extremely disproportionately strong hind legs. If they pull something too hard, they can tear their own ACLS. How many Huskies we saw being surrendered or abandoned increased sharply around 10 years ago. Oddly enough the cause was determined to be the HBO series "Game of Thrones". Many, many people watched that show and wanted the closest thing they could get to a dire wolf. When they realize that the husky isn't a dire wolf, or a toy, it's a high maintenance animal that demands a lot of their time, they get rid of it. There was a period of about a year in 2012-2013 that we would wake up or come home and there would be a leashed husky attached to our fence or porch (obviously not one of ours). That was happening 1-3 times a month for a while.

Its so hard for me to understand how anyone could abandon/abuse a dog (or any animal) like how Jake was at first. It’s so heart warming to know there are good people still out there ❤

But then what do we do to cows, chickens, pigs? Don't we serve them on our plates? Don't we impregnate cows so we can drink their delicious milk that they produce for their calves?I don't but most people that care about dogs think it is perfectly fine to pay others to abuse and kill animals for them so they can have their juicy burger with a nice layer of crunchy bacon and a thick slice of yummy cheese. Isn't that also psychopath? To have a disconnect from what we do to animals just because they are conveniently wrapped in plastic in the supermarket? But then if something bad happens to a dog, they get all upset? What is the difference?

Didn't even make it a minute without tearing up. The lack of strength and movement when just transporting him was the saddest thing. Thank you guys as always for these.

I mean... I agree... but also.. most huskies are like... having 20000 dogs.... all at once. So.. in a way. I kinda do understand it can be overwhelming to people. That.. I understand. How people can go from... im overwhelmed... to no hope.. to... this crap. Thats beyond me. There are always choices thats not this. Sometimes I wish it required more than just a few bucks to get a dog. Other times I wish we could do these people... what they are willing to do to dogs...

i've resueced two dogs from terrible near death conditions and both of them are soooo friendly to other people and animals--truly they are just GRATEFUL to be alive and have a family. this isn't something you can get from a dog who came from a mill or a breeder

As a Husky owner I'm absolutely appalled by this. Any animal in this condition is a disgrace. Poor Boy. Thank you for saving Him~

Don't get me wrong i love my current dog that has known love and comfort from pup to now and never known hardship or hunger or fear but still i say that the dogs that have been through the mill and retain an independent spirit are the best dogs.

man, the part where he shakily lifts his head up pierced my soul. The dude had the will to live, and I'm so glad that afforded him the 2nd chance at life

I cried watching this. I had a husky girl I loved beyond measure. Seeing Jake in this condition suffering was heart wrenching. Bless the people who rescued and healed this gorgeous boy and who adopted him.

My girl was abused the first ten months of her life. She was terrified of everything when I rescued her. She turned into the sweetest girl who gave the best hugs.

Thank God!! That you left this precious husky on this earth 🌎🌍 for another chance at life!! You wasn't ready to take him home, with you!! His rescuer's never gave up on his well-being!! Now?? He can have a another chance to live!!

seeing him at the beginning of the video I would have not thought that he would be able to survive. i have never seen a dog look that bad. poor little sweetheart.

I kept seeing this video, but I couldn't bring myself to watch it, he just looked too far gone to have a happy ending. So happy I watched it, though. He really made an excellent recovery, didn't think his fur would ever recover, but it looks beautiful, he was skin and bones, but he put on healthy weight back on, and his happiness is the true cherry on top. Wonderful outcome.

No words. I was devastates seeing how close he was to death. Can't stop crying from all he went through, but then so happy he was saved and loved and given a beautiful chance. I give credit to these beautiful souls who do the right thing and save these precious animals. It creates a ripple effect throughout our planet. ❤❤❤

Wabbit,please send your angels on earth to the factory farms and slaughter houses where kind innocent sentient beings are suffering and dying every minute of every day because people want to eat them instead of choosing something else to eat.

My heart soars with love to all of you, all the thank you’s will never be enough!

I've seen so many of these rescues where the animals look like they had already died, and yet they recover so much better than people would. I think it's because animals are so much better at living in the 'NOW'. May God Bless all the Rescuers and the people who call them to report abandoned animals and the Fosterers and Adopters and Volunteers and Vets and their assistants. Everyone who helps make these miracles possible. 🙏🏻💕
