Serial Killer Pleads Insanity But Doesn’t Know Teen Victim SURVIVED | The Case of Holly K. Dunn

"She basically came back from the grave to nail him"
On August 28, 1997, college student Holly Dunn doesn’t know that a sweet date with her boyfriend Christopher Maier at a campus party would take the darkest turn: Chris and Holly are attacked by a notorious serial killer ‘The Railroad Killer’. What happened that night had to be kept a secret for years, until the start of the trial, where Holly could finally face her attacker, the first time since that deadly night, and ultimately bring him down. -

Thanks for sharing Holly's amazing story!! So happy her life turned out well and sorry for all of the other unfortunate victims of this monster. Glad he got the DP, and let's just hope it's carried out sooner, rather than later. Kudos to this channel for featuring so many stories I have never heard before and putting them together so well... They're crazy alright! .......and they know it. The reality of the crazy they're admitting to is the lack of self control and decency that they lack, but should have (especially at their age). So instead of fixing it/improving self (by way of investing the time that they have......being that they're alive and physically well to do so). They'll aimlessly do as they please knowing that their works is shit for brains....and instead openly cry insanity. Being that this is an excuse that is readily available for them to use as a "get out of jail" card. I mean, when you look at the scope of all negative works, there is always an unexpected outcome that lies in wait.

Back in the 1980s, I had hired a woman, and while training her, she told me her story. She had worked in a bar, and one night, after closing, she was going to her car when a guy came up behind her trying to force her into the car. She was stabbed all over her body. How she survived, I'll never know. She had so much strength. I was in my 20s at the time, so it wasn't until years later that I came to appreciate her strength to go on with her life. I also went to high school with a guy that, a few years later, tried to stab his girlfriend to death, but she also survived. I met her when she was dating a friend of ours, and when she told me her story, and who the guy was, I was shocked. I remembered him from my high school days. He was a jock, kind of a quiet guy. I had no idea he was so violent. It's really terrifying how many violent people are just walking around and we don't even realize that someone we may know could suddenly turn into a killer. Really scary. 😢 My heart goes out to every victim and their families. 💔

@thisisiampie6946 The woman I hired I did not know her when I hired her. The other woman was dating my husband's best friend when she told me what had happened to her (my husband's best friend didn't do that to her). I had never met her before she started dating my husband'sbest friend. I'm one of those people who strangers like to tell me their life story. I have no idea why. I could be in line at the grocery store, or a convenience store, or even a doctor's waiting room, anywhere really... and some stranger will start pouring their life story out to me. I haven't got the faintest idea why people feel compelled to do that, but it's been happening all of my adult life. Like they need to tell someone, and I have a trusting face or something, I don't know. It's not like I asked them to tell me, but ok. I guess they just need someone to listen, so I listen. The stories are usually of something they went through, like those two woman, or serious health problems, severe accident, losing a loved one, etc. I can only guess they are having trouble moving on from the traumatic event and need to talk about it to work it out. Sometimes, it's easier to talk with a stranger because they don't know you and won't dismiss your feelings like family and friends can. The stories can be really difficult to hear. It's hard to know what to say when they're done talking, but I do my best to be supportive and comforting. Maybe I was a priest or something in a past life. 😂

Another amazing video from this channel. I love how you made it about Holly and not her attacker. She wasn’t just a victim, she’s a survivor. An amazing woman. The background music and the way it was edited really added to the emotion. Very inspiring. Can’t wait to see more videos.

Not only should the death penalty be mandatory in every country of the world, serial killers in particular should not be kept alive for any longer than one year after their sentencing, nor should they be executed in a peaceful manner. Their victims suffered dreadfully before their deaths, so an eye for an eye is the only true justice.

Good girl Holly. I'm proud of you. As a fellow Survivor, it's very important to continue on with your life. I also was able to confront my attacker in a court of law. It was a weight off of my shoulders & very freeing. I've been an ER Nurse since 1981. Continue to be Strong, Confident & Proud. Love & Hugs. Blessed Be 😇🙏🕊️🌈💖🌹

Being a survivor myself with PTSD, I found that no psychological studies or one on one helped. My incident happened in 1968 and when I finally forgave the people responsible one month ago, I am at peace. I'm not angry anymore, I just realize that I let those people rent space in my head for over 50 years, shame on me. BUT I AM NOW FREE.

im so glad you cover stories of survivors in such a respectful way. a lot of channels are incredibly tactless with this sort of thing. its inspiring seeing these people pull through despite the traumatic events they had to endure, being strong enough to face them in court, being able to continue to live their lives despite it all.

I don't know if the trend is dying out or if I've just successfully gotten the algorithm to stop recommending me those absolutely TASTELESS true crime channels where the person looks bored as fuck while putting on makeup talking about someone's horrible torture and murder like it's the least interesting thing on the planet. I appreciate channels like this where the narrator has a proper amount of gravity to their voice and they don't even have a face so it doesn't look like the video is about a bored-af makeup influencer.
