I don't think he was a senior when she adopted him! He's 12 now, and she has had him pretty much all her adult life.

I have a Flame Point! He's so sweet. He loves giving me Kisses all day long, and extra in the morning! He loves being loved on! I should've had a Flame Point my whole life! I wonder if she knows his breed. They're somewhat rare. I was blessed to find Kisses at our local humane society. He had just gotten off weaning. Oh he, and I are crazy about each other!

40 some years ago I was spending the night at a friend's house and she had a Siamese cat that woke me up from his meowing. At the time I thought a demon was coming for me and I was about to die for sure. I haven't thought about that in a very long time. Awe memories.

I adopted a senior Tortie last December. Little was known about her, but she was estimated at 10+ years. To see her gradually understand this was her new home was so sweet. She wraps her paws around my arm and sleeps close to me at night. She rarely speaks but purrs easily, I was so happy to get my first head bumps and slow blinks. Senior dogs and cats are the best.

Henry! Gorgeous boi. Thank you for adopting Henry. “Wisdom of the universe”. Love is all that matters. Yes, cats offer comfort and healing in the face of depression and trauma.

I have two cats that we adopted, one as a kitten from a shelter and one we rescued from the street where she had been “dumped “. I also deal with anxiety and depression and these two are my best forms of therapy.

I had a kitty who looked just like Henry. Cream with flame tip coloring with big blue blue blue eyes. He was a stray and I caught him in a parking lot when he was a kitten. 😊. I brought him inside and gave him a bath and dried him with my hair dryer. He purred and purred and purred the entire time. His name was Onslow. His little back end didn't work correctly (the vet said hmmm he's not quite right. That will be $100 dollars) His wee wobbly back end did not bother him a bit. He was wobbly when walking but he could run like the wind!!!He was a very very happy cat. He loved his two orange brothers. He was the joy of my life. I am so grateful to have had him in my life. Thanks for the Henry story, he is a joy too. Bask in his sweet kitty love.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊

Yeah, kinda just works out the way it's supposed to. The Cat Distribution System is pretty amazing. Btw, you're pretty sweet your self Melissa ! I have depression and anxiety too. My pets are my real friends. One rescue, one cat found outside at 3 in the AM as a kitten and two other dogs found as strays. One was only about 3 months old and wandering the streets! 😮👍😊

One of our favorite cats. Out of many favorite cats was adopted at age 6. He'd been kept in an apt or a locked room and yelled at. We turned him around with love and care. Things changed and he went to a family members house. You'd swear he'd never seen the rest of us. We all loved him.

Thank you for choosing to adopt rather than shop. Henry is 12 years old. He is a beautiful boy. I have only ever adopted senior Cats, some with medical conditions. Ms Lily is 20 years old. I rescued her but I think she really rescued me. Ms Lily still chases, lots of games and fun. Lily does have diabetes, pancreatitis and early onset kidney disease. We are a good match because I too am not well. She has extra Vet appointments and is on pain medication once per day. Her vet insists that she is a very beautiful cat but more importantly all these medical conditions are under control, not in late stages. So we just get on with it. 🐈🇦🇺🏡

Henry is beautiful but more importantly has a great personality: playful, super cuddly. I have 2 cats who like to be in same room with me and one will cuddle beside my leg. Both mine do not like to be picked up and held I would love a cat who snuggles up near my neck or shoulder but these don’t. Henry is a great gift, so glad he brings you comfort.
