@@katsukibakugou2171 I watched it a second time per your request. I believe this horse has been taught a bad habit to unseat his riders. You can kinda tell by body language when he gets up shakes and walks off that he’s headed towards the barn and was just likely tired of work. I have a horse that does this when he’s done working he will throw you off in hopes you will give up and take him back inside. He was likely taught this habit in a guard box where he would throw his rider and would be taken off duty. When you fall off a horse it is always important to get back on or you teach them tricks like that. I saw this video in a longer form and the rider did nothing to aggravate the horse. The horse kept trying to trot home and got frustrated at being told no. Young horses can be an awful lot like toddlers 😂

Excellent recovery horsemanship 👏. Sadly, these horses have high spirits and can be a handful at times. I sincerely hope that the lifeguard recovers well and is able to continue his duties. Maybe a nice long ride with his horse can help the animal settle down again. I got nicked off a bolting race horse 🏇🏻 when I was a novice aged 14 and a fantom lightweight. A man helped me onto my feet and took the horse (worth £6,500) out of the road. There were three of us and the slightly older owners daughter needed us to ride a horse each to get to a show and she was competing with all three. I didn't want to get back on Crazy Print, so a bit of shuffling around with the horses. I ended up on a 12.2 Welsh Connamara for the very first time and he was lovely. Perhaps that was why I was always given the difficult ones, even though I was only a novice and the least experienced ❗🤔 My back was very badly bruised and it was the next morning that I felt it and couldn't go to school for a week. I was on bed rest the entire time and my mother waited on me with all my meals and had to help me get out of bed. I was thrown from a full galloping bolting horse running paraito an A road and he bucked me three times and I was tossed up high and flipped over, landing on the grass verge. Sympathies because I know how much it hurts❗You weren't on a speeding horse, but you landed on the hard road❗🤔 so I hope the military allowed you a week to recover from the painfully spinal bruising ❗🤔

That young man was very fortunate. That fall could have broken his neck, and he could be paralyzed now. As a medical professional, RN, I have seen a lot of people who have either died from falls/ kicks/being stepped on multiple times by a frightened horse. Regardless of how much training you have or how good rider you are, they are massively strong animals. They are also prey animals, and can become frightened easily, and can be very unpredictable. If you know, you’re going to fall, if given enough time, you can try your best to try to control your fall to try and avoid the worst possible, or life threatening areas of your body. I’d rather have a broken leg, than a broken neck, or head injury. I know that’s not always possible. It’s also a good thing that this is a very strong, in good physical shape young man. I’m sure he was very sore after that fall.

I don't know how you worked that out, any age horse can buck, it may have been bucking to remove a fly off its arse or legs which by looking at the start of the video the horse does look like he was trying to swish a fly with its tail. Anyway its irrelevant, these horses are meant to be bombproof before being let out in public just like police horses are, can you imagine a police horse doing that whilst surrounded by football / rugby fans or kids visiting a concert... these horses were once vigorously trained whilst under the queens care but I'd say training and schooling standards have slipped. These horses are locked up all day, they have crappy lives in comparison to how a horse would naturally live. I feel sorry for them.

Wow! He’s very lucky he didn’t get hurt landing on a hard street, and those ornamental helmets don’t provide much if any protection. Rarely see a horse catapult a rider into a full forward flip over its head like that, especially those well-trained cavalry horses. Thank goodness he seemed okay and got right back up.
