The designation of an area to be a limited public forum restricts protest, not press.

Right, I think they use the term "expressive" in the public forum doctrine... recording isn't considered expressive, it's a passive exercise, can't be disruptive, like speech can be if it's part of a protest

Remember security aren't police. You can defend yourself by equal force if they go hands on. Security isn't allowed to go hands on unless it's self defense. Observe and report is the only thing that they are allowed to do.

They think that limited public forum is the whole building, but that’s not true. Only certain areas have limited access. The rest are open to the public. That’s what a limited public form means.

Clearing one's throat is equal to someone hearing the slide on a ACP .45 being drawn, everyone knows what it sounds like. They will move their hand and not put it back up there.
