Problem is, judges will sign anything cops put in front of them. The warrant requirement is a formality and not a genuine protection because judges no longer do their duty. I worked for a federal district judge for over 4 years and never once did I see him turn down a warrant application, not once.

It is a yes or no question. If they do not leave after being told to leave, then call 911 and get it on recording that there are people unlawfully at your residence impersonating police and that you demanded they leave your property and they refused by not leaving when told to do so. Police and all others in government have to follow the law and this ignorant cops statement about cps having rights is totally incorrect.
