I know how you feel, I do the same thing! They are great episodes, all though the things involved are horrific terrible things. But we learn things from watching these, pay attention to them, remember, these shows can save your lives, they give some answers as to what to look out for, or things to do to prevent it from happening to you or someone you know, also keep records like diaries if you think something is wrong, you know what i mean? I watch these to learn, it benefits everyone!

I don't fault the bio mom for giving her son up for adoption, especially when she knows her lifestyle wouldn't be best for him. I'm so glad Lee was cleared and an innocent man didn't go to prison. Thank goodness they found them for their families.

She cared enough to admit she wouldn't have been able to properly care for Riley, which is more than far too many others in similar circumstances are willing to do. Instead, they keep their kid(s) in squalor and neglect their needs while thinking they're doing their best.

Not only his life but hers. I think she knew this guy wanted to them and set them up for him. The whole “getting mad at her for bringing them over” is lie. She called to over to set them up for him to murder them. That lady is just dangerous as him. I believe they were a serial killing couple in the making but she just has some sort of empathy that you can’t have to be a killer. Notice she said she drove the truck back ? This mean she was there watching the murders. These people always remove themselves from these killings when in reality they were there watching and enjoying it. People that live in small towns are usually scared to live in big cities because of high crime rates but they’re not looking at the fact that most of these cases are from small town. Just look at all the cases on This channel and most serial killers in this countries history. Most of these sick crimes are happening in small towns because they have a sense that they’re hidden from the public which means people are less likely to see them commitIng these crimes, and also these police departments are small and don’t have the resources to investigate crimes like these so it’s the perfect mix. If that lady didn’t say anything they probably would have never solved this case. They simply don’t have the resources to investigate a case like this for years.

  • @calvinh.8882

Exactly. And it was them saying they found the same type of ratchet strap at his place that was making him look guilty. But they never said if they found both pieces of the strap at his place. Those straps come in 2 pieces, so if the one they found at his place had both pieces, then it would be clear that the piece they found on the Jeep wasn't his. I know a lot of people that have those same exact straps because they were cheap and places like Walmart sold a lot of them.

If they came in asking about my wife's biological child missing, you can bet your ass that I'd drop everything I was doing to talk to that cop.

what’s scary is the moms boyfriend could’ve easily found himself locked up in prison for something he never did. All it takes is somebody saying they saw him towing the truck, if another “eye witness” would of corroborated that same story or somebody else made something up to frame him he would’ve been more than likely fucked. That’s the reason we have so many false imprisonments. We’re so desperate for justice sometimes we end up putting innocent men/women behind bars. Glad they got it right this time.

You don't know how wrong you are. Jerrod was a very easy target because of his background. Henderson was arrested before she became a witness and was facing 40 years for 9 felony charges. She so happens to become a witness and all of her felony charges are dropped. Doesn't make sense. Morgan the "witness" last 2 husband's and her son have died while with her. Strange right? Morgan was also in position of a large amount of cash that had Riley's fingerprints on it along with a necklace that the girl was wearing. There is a lot more to this that was not added. So yes you are right in the sense that the wrong man could be convicted you just had it backwards.

Jake Moore So what did Dougiee have backward? Stated an innocent man would have possibly been wrongly convicted and sentenced for a crime not committed, but glad that the person who was ostracized by the community was not immediately formally charged for the crime, and that “possibly” one of the alleged involved was then determined to be guilty? Therein, the female “witness”, after facing several felony counts, decides to coordinate the scenario where she was innocent and a threatened victim, voluntarily gives testimony to the whereabouts and history of the victims?

He became enraged because she was hanging out with people "without his permission" and then brutally killed them. I would have been terrified I was next if I said anything, personally. I can't really blame her for keeping quiet. She told police immediately after she was in their custody on an unrelated incident.

@@MoonBeamsAndDreams yea the Susan Powell case is an insanely sad story and was extremely well covered in detail on the podcast COLD. Her husband presumably murdered her in Dec 2009 and her body has never been located. In 2012, he killed himself and his two sons and blew up their house. One of the most horrific cases I’ve seen. The podcast is the most thoroughly researched, well produced podcast I’ve heard, and since it’s produced by a radio host or station in SLC, UT near where Susan disappeared, the audio is amazing. For example when they talk about the airport, it sounds like they went to the SLC airport to get audio footage because I have been to that airport a ton of times and that’s exactly what it sounds like. Or if they talk about driving on a gravel road, it sounds like you’re on a gravel road. That was the first podcast I had heard and now none of the ones I’ve found since measure up! 😂

It shows how media can spin everything to make you suspect of one person only two revealed that there's plenty of evidence that there's really no reason to think that outside of the fact that the person didn't take a good picture and the narration of the story makes them sound somewhat sinister.

The guy then threatened to decapitate her if she would ever go to the cops, also stating that even if he were to go to jail, he could get her killed from behind bars. And worst of all he threatened the life of her son. So she was too scared for her life and the life of her child to come forward. That's her statement and I can see why she would be scared and not come forward if things truly did go that way. We live in a society full of violence where people will obsess over you and act out violently towards you because you jumped queue in a shopping center without even realizing it. Agreed.. I believe that’s probably the real story. Her version seems to be a bit far-fetched, even for the most jealous and evil of boyfriends, to be so enraged that a man (with his female girlfriend) is hanging out with his girlfriend that he drives the tied-up couple to the perfect spot as if it was... premeditated.. and then kills them there? Hmmm it is, however, the most perfect story to absolve oneself of the crime because you thought the police were pulling you over because they found evidence about what you did and were arresting you for murder.
