They talk about there kids like nothing. u say that their not a reliable source well she seemed like she was sober and aware of the situation. and then u refuse to talk about ur missing child of 22 years but not only that u show no emotion about it u held that in your stomach, u let that grow with in u and u brought her into this world and not one shred of life came into u when talking about it

Yes, it highly unusual for a mother to not want to say anything on a TV show abt her daughter who's been missing almost two decades. I would grab any opportunity that might help to bring her back, I'll probably crying loads to beg her to come back. I'm s gd s dead if I hv no closure on my missing daughter. But then dats just me..

What kind of mom would be OK with it’s in gods hands?! Not to mention if your child is missing and you haven’t heard from her and so so very long, why wouldn’t you want anybody to help you find her? Who would just turn their back on that? I wouldn’t! And no man would ever come before any of my children. Does the mother know that the children were locked in their room for two days? And she’s OK with that?

I’m not sure if it exists but I know there’s been tons of petitions and discussion about making it a law to report missing children within a certain amount of time. I mean if a teacher can face charges for not reporting abuse, etc. then why would a whole ass parent not have to face charges for it? Those first few days are crucial to find a child, even if it’s just an irresponsible parent without ill will waiting so long to report is life or death for a missing child.

The parents got lucky enough to be in an area where the police were severely unqualified, apparently. I had the exact same thoughts - you don't need a body, there is plenty of other evidence that could have been used against them. I'm disgusted that they didn't, at the VERY LEAST, get charged with child neglect after it came to light that they never filed a missing person report for her. Law enforcement failed Monique as much as her parents did.

I’ve done so much research on this and I truly think her parents did it. It’s not normal to remove all of your family pictures with your daughter who is missing. Just because she is gone doesn’t mean she is forgotten, but it seems like that’s what they wanted: her to be forgotten. That’s not right. I think she was probably sexually abused again by her stepfather and maybe even pregnant with his child. That would give him and her mother motive to kill her. It’s truly heartbreaking how unaffected and unbothered her parents are about the whole thing. Makes me sick. I feel for her little brother. He had an instinctual feeling that something was wrong and often those feelings have truth to them. I hope someday her siblings find the truth and they get justice for whatever was done to their sister.

@Tosh J I think the father killed her before she went "missing" or killed her. Then their mom took the oldest kids to the choir trip and the father locked the youngest kids up while he abused and killed or just killed Monique'. Then he put her dead body in her room and only let the sons peak in so they thought she looked alive before he took them on a fishing trip to scout an area to bury Monique. And kept her body in the tub where her brother got a disturbing feeling he wasn't alone. Then the father locked the boys in their room for 2 days while he burned and put her body in an oil drum to put in the location he scouted out. Then he forced Angelique to write the letter and call to cover his tracks And maybe the mom pretended she was depressed(or was bc of the disgusting man she decided to support) so Angelique would do it. The kids, like the son, should make the authorities check the place their stepfather drove them to on the "fisihing trip". Her body is prob there.

*04/11/2020* Jason M I beg your pardon, but you've no idea what you're talking about. So your *teenage* daughter goes missing & every day, every week, every month, every year ... you're not going to wonder about her whereabouts or try to do everything in your power to find her? You're just gonna chalk it up to "Oh, she just left town" for reasons unknown. You stating that there's a slim possibility of those parents murdering her is ridiculous. There are far more reasons/possibilities that they did kill her. Don't be so blind!! P.S. If she were *alive* , common sense would say that she would have contacted at least one of her siblings, her aunt, another relative, *someone*, even her Mom, just to let her know that's she's alive ... after all this time. Also, while I'm here, I didn't see that Mom shed 1 single tear over her missing daughter.🤔
