@@LC-in5orall you had to do is look up how the seals treat other seals when they are no longer serving and then talk about their service or even people they liked who died serving with them. A big one is the KZread guy who tells like scary true crime stories. I can’t remember his name for the life of me. But yea they practically almost made him quit. Making videos he went from one platform to another thinking hey all these guys can’t possibly be on every platform but when one guy would find him it like he got ahold of everyone and they’d just spam His comments and messages calling him on talking about stuff he saw did and people who he liked and had passed. Most of his videos aren’t even seal related they just don’t what he’s being able to do

@@sigspearthumb1056haha yeah Mr. Ballen. He’s from around here in MA. He’s a great guy. They were just jealous he started getting views and making money online and was doing shit for his future. Petty as hell. I wanted to be a SEAL for years and made the choice to go Ranger instead. All the Army SOF and spec ops dudes seem very stand up guys to me and humble good men. The SEALs are just wayyyy too corrupt and narcissistic for me.

@@Chazb369Thing also about Mr. Ballen is that he really didn't use his "I'm a Seal" job to get to where he is today. So in a way, a lot of jealous Seals disliked him on that merit alone. It's hilarious, because he doesn't come off remotely like someone who was a "Seal" & I love when Don Shipley has to tell folks "he's vetted guys, stop asking."

Two SEALs actually were lost in action recently because of this. During an operation, Christopher J Chambers fell overboard (between the SEALs’ craft and the hostile ship) during a boarding operation. Unwilling to leave him to die, his brother in arms and fellow U.S. Navy SEAL - Nathan Gage Ingram - jumped into the water in an attempt to save him. The rest of their team completed their mission, but the two men didn’t resurface. A search party was sent out and searched for over a week, but it became a recovery operation as it became evident that the sea had taken them into its depths. They were two men who died serving their country (one dying to save his brother). People give their lives in their service to this country and a lot of these ex-SEALs use the title for a cash grab and bragging rights.

I was at ST-1 with Jocko when he was enlisted. We were never in the same platoon and never friends. But no-one that worked with him questioned his professionalism or work ethic. The daylight patrols were something that NO-ONE liked, but they came after the Iraqi elections (All SEALs were doing VIP security details leading up to the elections) and we couldn’t do unilateral missions any more, so without an Iraqi partner force we were out of a job. We partnered up with anyone so we could actually participate. In Jocko’s TU, that meant daylight patrolling with Iraqis. Jocko was man enough to not bitch to his subordinates about whatever orders he was given. I never met Kyle and so won’t talk about him. All stories I’ve heard about him came from his platoon-mates, not first hand knowledge. Not sure who this guy is (he’s younger than me) but he’s definitely burning bridges.
