I also have acid reflux. I was getting sick after eating homemade food, then one gut healer consultant told me what to eat. And also 50% stomach problems depend on mental health. Who feels lonely, negative attitude, unsecured, jealousy , feelings left out, no one to share problems ect . Face stomach related problems. 1. Avoid food items that create inflammation. Like rice, wheat, legumes (avoid tur daal, chana daal), spicy food, tea, sugar, non veg, dairy, refined oil, nuts, junk and packed food, corn, cheese, cake , chocolate, butter, raw vegetable salads. **What you can eat is jawar, ragi roti with green leafy vegetables, cabbage, pumpkin , okra, cauliflower ect. cooked only in coconut oil or ghee with less spice, less onion/tomoto/garlic(if possible avoid for some days) ***Take chass or curd after the meal . *good probiotic, cabbage juice, okra juice for ulcers, gastritis* ***In legumes Only mug daal can be used. You can have mug daal soup.boiled vegetables. ***Avoid sugar not even jaggery, palm sugar. You can only take honey. ***Add banana, pineapple, papaya, and avoid citrus fruits. ** Chew Ginger or take ginger tea after the meal. ***take lemon juice with black salt little by little after the meal don't take it all at once. it will create reflux.* ** chew a little bit of clove, carrom seeds , kalonji after eating meals for bloating, gas. ** Avoid viruddha aahar like jaggery and milk, salt in meals and milk. *** Sit straight for 2 hours after eating. **sleeping with your head elevated. sleeping on your left side. *** Walk in grass bare foot it helps to reduce inflammation in the stomach. *Intermediate fasting (if you can tolerate or no diabetic) is good. *** Tummo , diaphragmatic breathing is good. Getting up early in the morning is very important. Take early morning sun rays. Meditate. **Calm your mind before having meal. because stress is the main reason for stomach related issues. increase in cortisol level messed up your digestion.

@@arunkunwar17 I take ginger, lemon ,mint leaves, jeera , Little bit coriander powder, turmeric ,pinch of black paper honey juice daily morning. Sometimes Cabbage juice or okra juice for ulcers. i take a 2 hour gap then I have breakfast. **Breakfast: soak the mug dal overnight and make chila. Jawar aata , ragi atta dosa or roti with coconut chatni. In India we have vrat (fasting flour ) atta rajgira atta, singhada atta , kuttu atta I make chila from that. But only in coconut oil or ghee no refined oil. food should be gluten free, lactose free, refined free. if you feel bloating ,pain in stomach then you should avoid that item. And should make a list of such food items. Lunch and dinner ** avoid rice and wheat for 2 weeks or until your symptoms subside . ragi, jawar ,bajara roti which suits your body with vegetables like pumpkin, cauliflower, cabbage, okra, leafy vegetables. In less spice no onion ,garlic, tomato. But Can have raw onion and tomato are alkaline. If it's suits. **Add Good probiotic. ** Avoid mango. Eat watermelon, menon ** Avoid tea, cake , chocolate , packed food junk, chips, corn because it has caffeine and sugar causes inflammation. **Avoid viruddha aahar like jaggery and milk, salt in breakfast and milk tea. use almond milk powder in tea instead. **Avoid Rice cook in cooker , avoid white salt. Use black salt.

I get pain for almost everything before and now kind of controlled after medication and lifestyle changes. I have been having heartburn since I was 16, now I'm 25. All I could realise is my body is bit sensitive to spicy food, so I cut down on it, I never smoked or consumed alcohol. I even started having palaya sorru once a week recently. Eating early, consuming sufficient water and hot water before bed have a good impact too. Eating less acidic fruits like Apple, Guava, butter fruit helps too. Especially not taking a nap right after meal is very helpful.

Hello Dr. Pal, for over a year, I've been sticking to restricted time eating by watching your videos and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including running and workouts from many years. The positive change I've noticed is a reduction in my cholesterol levels. However, I've been experiencing consistent burping. No heart burning, especially when stressed or after certain foods, despite consulting top Gastroenterologists and undergoing various tests, including endoscopy. I'm curious why I am getting this as I have flat stomach and clean eating habits, doing work outs, no smoking or drinking

That's right. Chronic stress messes up the gut brain axis which results in all sorts of gut related issues even in those individuals who don't have much belly fat. Stress has become more prevalent after the pandemic than ever before. So we all should pay attention to our physical as well as mental health because they both are interlinked. 👍🏼

Well I think this is one of the most complicated disease on the planet and the symptoms varies widely person to person. I am doing doing literally each and everything that Dr Pal is saying but still I do get heartburns, however the intensity is little less. Got done endoscopy, nothing found, dr just said some h pylori, given medicine, for 2 month, took medicine, nothing really changed. Have lost good weight, tried IF, still I take my dinner at 6. Not sure if i am getting rid of it sooner 😢 If you research further, you will be amazed to know that it could happen due to less acid in stomach as well.Dr Berg, a famous youtuber doctor says to include betain hcl with everymeal so that when you have proper acid, your gate works well .But I am not sure how to know which version of acidity you have, high acid or low acid😅 Dr Pal, please cover the long term effects of PPI and acid suppressants, whether these should be taken or not. Role of stress and sleep in GERD.

Hello Dr making sure to watch atleast 1 vdo of urs in full volume everyday and share in wp status in public. That apart it influenced me to complete family dinner before 8 most days and trying for 7 pm dinners. Some nights it goes beyond 9-10 then cudnt cut the dinner altogether but eat only 25% of regular portion & wait for min 1.5 hrs before sleep. Your vdos are eye opener and brought in lifestyle changes in my family as well as my relatives bcos when we get together our first talk will be to wind up kitchen bcos Dr Pal has told to do so. You are a virtual dr in all the families now as if looking at us thru phone camera... Meaning to say ur vdos have created that kind of consciousness. We are strict veges by community no smokers, no alcohol. But please make a vdo as how stress like losing loved ones, work pressure or fear, anxiety board exam stress all will trigger or affect the weight and stomach. In my experience i have found stress was main cause of obesity and has increased laziness (laazzziiiii) Am giving a detailed comment bcos if you can addres this in your vdos many will be benefited.
