These civil war relics are so cool. I have only found a general service uniform button in my area. But up here in northern Wisconsin there wasn't any civil war activity so my chances are pretty slim to find any civil war goods. But I'm always hopeful anyway. Thanks for sharing and great hunt guys!

There is a great place to metal detect in Vicksburg right outside of town if you ever get there it is a location where a bridge used to be that they burn down there was a great battle there you will probably have to get permission from the landowner but very good place

I just found a medicine bottle bout 15” deep in my back yard. Embossed on bottom OWENS the o is in a square. I looked it up. Made in 1909-1929

California Fig Syrup Co. was started in 1878 and was bought out in 1912.

Because its mostly private ground but on Crowley's Ridge in eastern Arkansas. There are two areas that would be interesting to you they are relatively close to Wynne Ark There is the small community of Levesque Arkansas and community of Wittsburg the significance of were Levesque was on the old Military road and there is a large ground fed spring there a union army camp was there. And Wittsburg was town on the St. Francis river both just east of Wynne Arkansas

What does those artillery shells ring up on the AT Max? Great video again. It was great seeing Nugget again.

They vary. Most solid balls and bolts really no up around 50-55. Ones with lead sabots will bounce back and forth in the mid to high range. I’ve had Hotchkiss noses ring up a solid 38 before. It’s really hard to give you a solid answer because the soil condition can change VDI numbers all around.

The "musket balls" with the half moon cuts are actually from a case shot that was drilled to place the bursting charge in.

At 7:01 I can see something round, maybe a bullet or casing, between the 6&7 o’clock position on the rim of the hole you dug.

I would love to go Civil War hunting im a full blooded Ojibwe gal from Canada. I went to a civil war battlefield in Richmond Ky. Well l touched a building there on the hill. Long story short.. l ended up getting attacked by a soldier and a slave women. I am very sensitive to spirit activity. Not sure if l would sence stuff if l went hunting for relics. Be safe while hunting.
