Talk about blessed my brother! I love old things, relic hunting, history especially the Civil War. You've hit them all. I'm in central Arkansas by a military rd. and your going to have me in every ditch I can find! Congratulations!

The amount of kit and gear lost or abandoned by soldiers of all sides who were being affected by extremely emotional events at the time are awesome and sad 😔

When you pulled that first buckle up out of the water my eyes filled with tears! Made me relieze we are all Americans and children of GOD !!

Simply amazing finds....bucket list items!

Great finds! Periodically out on the Western frontier here due to our arid soil conditions, we'll get parts of belt leather, cav boots,kepi brims and even a complete slouch hat. But you can't beat artifacts that have been buried in mud and silt. I actually have Colt Navy complete with wood grips and freely rotating cylinder preserved from being buried in silt.

That was amazing find. Interesting how the mud has probably preserved the leather. This hunt you will never forget. Congratulations. My son Chris just told me about your channel. Greetings from Port Colborne , Ontario, Canada.

I have found many pieces of CSA buckles and South carolina infantry / CSA buttons. I really enjoyed this one, different from most others. Rarely do you find leather pieces anymore. I find a ton of stuff in Va but not much leather with it, Most of my finds are not in water. I have a cartridge box plate and 5 US buckles and a confederate sword plate buckle, VMI buckle, clipped corner confederate militia buckle, and tons of other stuff. Good job!

The joy you exert when you find these treasures is so contagious!! May God richly Bless you as you find these artifacts & share them with us. You make the items more personal and gets us thinking about the who,, what, where,why & when they were used. Makes me think about the person who carried them & what their lives were like compared to ours now. Your finds are allowing us to use our imaginations & do our own research Thanks for being such a good teacher!

Awesome my Arkansas brother! I've been to a Civil War xing a couple years ago down south Arkansas and the water was way too high. I did find a few buck-n-balls though. This makes me want to go again. Great video! God Bless!

Been trawling through these kinds of vids for years. This has got to be the best one. At first I thought you might have planted that bayonet it was so good, but no way watching you fish around for every bit of leather and every bullet. Teaches me I should have more faith. It will be tough to top this one, but I really hope you do someday. Happy hunting!

@ 14:52, the container that has the lid that screws off is the black powder measurements container. They used it to measure the powder before they put the caps in & firing.

Never watched your channel before till today. What a good find !! My great grandfather and great uncle both were from Arkansas and were Union Calvary soldiers. I can't stop thinking that the area may be that union solders grave. Keep digging in faith 😁

Thanks for watching! I highly doubt it was a soldier’s grave. They weren’t fighting here, so they wouldn’t have a fellow soldier just fall in a creek and leave him there. He would’ve had a proper burial. Hopefully that will ease your mind 😊. And yes, I’ll keep digging on faith! 😬
