My Grandparents lived on the outskirts of Fort Jesup, LA. Near Many, LA. They found many things on their property, old guns and stuff. But they left me one of their coolest finds, an artillery shell with the skirt, I not sure if that’s what it’s called or not. But it’s cool.

As a certified UXO Technician (UXO= UnExploded Ordnance ) I have to tell you artillery ammunition of that era can still explode (in the right circumstances which are technical). Are these dangerous yes potentially very dangerous. Best solution turn it over to Police Bomb Squad!

It rang up a 75-80(ish). The brass sabot - I’m pretty sure - made it ring up that high.
