I am an anchor at the local TV station where Ryan’s body was found and I can remember being worried that they were never going to figure out who he was. The ingenuity of the people working on the case was incredible and it is nothing short of amazing that they were able to figure out who did this. Maybe it’s because Ryan reminds me so much of my own younger brother but this case really affected me and I’m so glad that the family could at least get closure. He seemed like a wonderful kid. I noticed Sarah kept referring to the killing plan as "THE PLAN"..not "HER PLAN'- meaning Naira's plan..so it certainly wasnt entirely Nairas- more likely it was Sarahs with Naira contributing, given the strong dislike Sarah had for Ryan mixed in with some jealousy she felt against Ryan!

They were failed by parents (or lack thereof) and now will usher western civilization to a lazy, debaucherous death, making tiktoks the whole way down

Ryan is my First Cousin. The poor kid didn't have a very good life at home. His Dad, and his Sister treated him well, but his mother and older brother did not. This was a terrible thing to happen to a nice kid! Our family hasn't had the best of luck. My Sister was shot and killed by her boyfriend 2 months after my Brother died in an accident. Then I was notified that my Dad had died a couple of months before they did, but no one knew since he lived in a different state and was not in contact with us very much.

this is not meant to disrespect the victim in any way, but people who are constantly self-deprecating and generally unhelpful/unmotivated-- specifically adults-- are incredibly annoying, especially if they're vocal about it. if you're an adult, yes, you can still be depressed and you can still struggle, but ultimately it's your responsibility to get your shit together and get help if you need it (which it sounded like he did). it's fine to not like someone, but murdering them just because their personality sucks isn't okay. that should go without saying idk, just something about how jiles was talking about "how heartless that sarah and naira were because they didn't like, support, and/or pity this poor boy" (wayyyy earlier in the episode) didn't sit well with me, namely because he was a grown man, and also because as a grown adult, you need to be responsible for your own life, and simply whining about how nobody likes you and you "can't do anything because you'd suck at it, so why try" is immature. as an adult with cPTSD, generalized anxiety disorder, severe major depression w/ psychotic features, and also happens to be on the autism spectrum, i don't expect anyone to treat me uber nicely or coddle me just because im having a rough go at life. that type of intensive support that ryan likely needed had to come from a therapist, medication, and other services, not a romantic partner.

@Strawberry’s Shortest cake imagine bitching about people being unempathetic and then calling the first person you disagree with a sociopath. take your own advice maybe? literally reread my comment. i said that I didn't agree with the way jiles described him as being a boy and as being entitled to sympathy because he was self-deprecating and insecure. did I ever call the victim undeserving of sympathy in general? no. i said jiles' assumptions and accusations didn't sit right with me because ryan was an adult, and believe it or not, not everyone needs to like you when you're an adult. not once did I ever say he deserved the cruelty he experienced-- I said he didn't deserve to be murdered just because people didn't like him/found him obnoxious. clearly your reply isn't out of some semblance of empathy or respect for the victim, either, since you refer to him as "some dead guy with social anxiety." miss me with that fake ass concern
