Temples are certainly not attractions for sightseeing. They are places for spiritual worship, practice and expansion of consciousness. Still I hope that they will not simply disallow all non-indians in the temples, as some of us are deeply devoted aspirants, being loyal to indian spiritual tradition for decades.

There are temples in India where men are not allowed to enter because of similar reasons. There's a temple in Tamilnadu which is exclusive for trans and other genders cannot enter.

Temples are not for worship of some imaginary beings in heaven or sky, it's to invoke or improve the functioning of human beings than it was before. The whole construction of temple is designed in such a manner that it invokes special qualities in the person. For example warriors go to Kali temple to invoke courage, merchants go to Lakshmi temple to invoke economical decisions and so on. The temple doesn't see you whether you are a Muslim, Christian or followers of other faith, it simply serves you for a specific reason if you have rightful heart and urge to serve others. Simply to put, temple equals to a machine to improve the existing human potential to next level. Brahmacharis are different types.Out of which women can visit some and we should not visit some.Women can visit all Hanuman temples but not Sabarimala due to the classification

Affect women don't know but fact is diety is Lord Ayyapa who goes in that temple for meditation and prayers and lead brahmachari life. What is brahmachari life ? Life is penance, honesty, hardwork, meditation and control on desires and urges. Diety doesn't want his urges to arise in any way. Diety is on path if renunciation. What is there for women to be offended of I completely fail to understand. Rest all this women health blah blah we don't need just respect diety's wish.
