    The more we create awareness in the girls , atleast next generation will not go through the pain . I in my 50 s did not do what you talked or did not realise the impact in my 20 s and 30 s. This needs to be taken to all school going girls and college girls

    Thankyou ❤ I saw your first video in 2016 about menstruation . But when I saw another video in 2020 your perspectives were changed . I practiced what you advocated . I understood a lot in this journey , and the results were exponential not only about reducing the pain but also mentally and spiritually. I can't thankyou enough for sharing this wisdom with us through the book Rituvidya . Thankyou mam , I know a thanks is not enough for the transformation that you have given me . But again , thankyou so much .🙏🏻

    In coroporate it's still possible to some extent, what about schools? Sunday off can't be changed, so how is it supposed to happen? Plus, pay in schools is very less, how will women adjust with 3 days less salary every month? Is that practical?

    Government in India and elsewhere don't see the issues related to women in totality. Here in India women are given maternity leave on child birth of 8 months. It is really not much helpful to women, children and to the organisation they work for. Government must move to a longer period of 5 years for women to plan, give birth and bring up the child ( 1 or 2). During this period half or one third salary may be given. If a woman has children before joining the job, they may be allowed to join by upto 5 years later. During this period of 5 years, organisation may also arrange for a temporary staff so that work is not compromised.

    The best thing would be to give women fixed salary without asking them to join the job. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    You are talking as if govt owns tons of resources, see if this period leave comes then women employment rates are going to fall. second lot of social issues will arise as whole work area knows woman has or has not period and it opens up issues of untouchability, pregnancy , gossip etc. Add to this unorganised sector like house helps, labourers, shopkeepers, road side women vendors etc , they will face more pressures. Third , important positions in govt, corporate, defense etc won’t be given to women as they generally need almost real time availability.

    I am suffering from 28 years because of this ... I always told Indian women how LUCKY they were, but they kept whinging on our "free"life in Europe. While we are suffering. Our motherhood was taken away, forced to BE INDEPENDENT, forced to work and have a career... all was against my will. Thanks for this video - can we have you in the European Parlement to make the men and women understand! I am suffering from osteoporosis at the age of 43! _/|\_

    How is a woman to have leave from households? Specially when she's the only house handler? Single mothers? Housewives? You can fight for professional leaves, who will for personal ones?

    We have to go a long way in women work presence in every field we can not imagine like China where it is almost same as that for men. During my innings in China, I have come across women in engineering fields we can not imagine like carpenters, plumbers, electricians, Heavy vehicle operators, crane operators, etc. In fact service sector is dominated by women. We can not be a developed society until same happens in Bharat. Surely Chinese women r managing d monthly cycle better being d most important requisite. Now with d flexibility of WFH, it has become simpler for women in white collar jobs. We need to focus on poor M hygiene before managing d cycle. 8 h even for 3 days is manageable for most surely except those doing physical labour. Have a nice evening.

    Even though I am great fan of Sinu Joseph but I oppose Any kind of Paid Menstrual Leave. It will increase the burden of work on Men because women are taking 4 days extra leave per month.

  • @ultimate6243

    @ultimate6243

    @@PragyanamM Sunday leave is universal and it can't be changed. And people need atleast 1 day leave per week from work to do personal work like cleaning cloths,Visiting doctor,Meeting with family and friends etc. If women wants to compete men in jobs then they have to work like Men otherwise noone will going to hire women. Now tell me if a female teacher take 4 days paid Menstrual leave then who will going to teach the students for 4 days on behalf of her? 4×12= 48 days per year So the students will loose 48 days of study per year because their female teacher is taking Paid menstrual leave.

    So what if work burden is increased? Humanity sustains right? If it was your daughter , mother or wife will you not take that extra burden of weight lovingly? You know what is missing ? love is missing. When life is deal with everyone, it’s going to exhaust and take the life and spirit out of you. A mother strength is her child’s happiness,she doesn’t expect anything in return ,her child’s happiness give her power and sustains her life , she is even ready to give her life for her children safety and happiness. That’s the power of love everything becomes nothing infront of such love. I am not telling to be like that mother . A little love in everything can bring so much life and happiness in you. Have compassion and humility, this is the basis of Sanathan dharma .

    She also clearly said women can work on Sundays in lieu of the menstrual leaves they take.
