S4:Episode16-Jaguar V-12 Cylinder Head Installation Pt2
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Bolting the heads to the short block is a milestone during the assembly of any engine, especially on a Jaguar V-12 because it's the last difficult job. The rest is cleaning and details. In this episode, I'll show what's involved in doing the final installation of the cylinder heads. This ain't no small block Chevy.

Good work sir A+ underbuilt automotive approved lol blessing
Nice Bob.
hello bob. a trick i have used originally on stud modified bb fords when using aluminum heads. wrap the threads with a bit of teflon tape. helps smooth the installation out w/ far fewer shavings all around.
Love it! Can’t wait to see this engine fired up for the first time.
More great work Bob, thanks!
Another Fantastic Video!!!
Great series
Hi Bob, love the videos, what are the pros and cons of using something like copper coat spray on the head gaskets?

Most manufacturers forbid anty kind of sealer other than what they apply at the factory
Bob, how do you deal with the { invariably} warped heads? Have the machine shop straighten them using a torch? Nice and Shiny Engine you got there!!

I've only got one head that needs straightening after welding. I intend to try it myself with a torch this winter. If I get the time.
Will the pulleys of XJ6 Power Steering fit to a swapped Chevy 350 with Short Water Pump? Thank you any and all!
so the Hylomar you use for the washers... what would be the "american translation" for us Yanks? Permatex form -a-gasket #2 ?

It's called Hylomar. Brian Benson/Dakota Parts Warehouse 605-388-3396. No favorite. Both are very similar to work on.
