It's a bittersweet moment when an engine gets mounted on the test stand for final assembly and testing. It's exciting because the project is close to completion and I want to hear it run. But there always surprises and while they are always minor problems, there's always the chance the rear main seal could leak which is a nightmare to fix. But so far so good.

Well Bob, because of watching this channel, on Monday I'm likely going to be buying an '86 XJ-S. As I've said before, you do an excellent job of demystifying these cars, showing that they're really just big TR-7s (with extra electronics).

@@billstewartxxx I mean, it's no more complicated than a TR-7. Like a 911 is a Beetle with a couple of extra cylinders. Used to think XJs were a hellish nightmare, but Bob shows different.
