I think this was my very first anime that I purchased nearly 20 years ago! It really is a well done story!

2017 and still listening to this underated classic song. :)

First saw this on vhs back in '98, since then found it in dvd. Its one of my favorite Anime of all time

@elvenangelalita I agree. This is a gem of an OVA and its a shame it is as rare it is because it doesn't deserve to fall into such obscurity.

Man I love Ruin Explorers! Too bad my VCR broke, though. After it broke, I went and got another one, but it broke, too. I wish Veoh or Miro had it so I could watch it, instead of having to buy it from e-bay, which is the only place I know of to find it.

When I was around 7 I remember This anime being one of my earliest memories. When I grew up I remembered the song but not where it was from. For so many years I searched for it without any lead. I finally managed to and I would like to say thank you.

It's been nearly ten years since I watched this OVA and it still makes me teary.

The chorus to this sounds a *lot* like Lum no Love Song That's not a bad thing, one good anime song taking influence from another great anime song I love this anime btw ♥♥
