The English version is actually really good because she sings with power. In the original Japanese version the singer is so soft that the chorus overpowers her.

Sandy did such a great job with all of the Rayearth songs. Sometimes I even prefer them over the originals. This is impressive localization work - too bad very few people remember/appreciate it these days.

MKR's OP and ED songs are amount the rare examples of successful translation from one language to another. You cannot translate a lyrics like dialog, you will almost have to rewrite the lyrics to make it work. The different presentation style of OP and ED from season1 to season2 reflects a divide line between traditional and modern trend, if you take look at then OP and ED from 70's anime compare to some recent titles, you will discover some parallel elements to what happened in the MKR.

Good to remember this English language version of the credits that was put to the international broadcasts of the series in the 1990s (I watched it in the Peruvian broadcasting on the channel Panamericana by satellite reception from Colombia) but with the opening song instead of the ending, and was placed not only in the first arc of the series but also in the second one.

I will have to double check, but I think you are right. Such a shame, because Sandy Fox did a great job with these.

Also I forgot to add that this other video does not glizz.

@TheLittleDomino It's the only video I've managed to find of the Enlish ending. Granted, that was more than a year ago that I found it. There's probably a better one floating around somewhere around on the net. I know that glitch is at the start, but it was there before I downloaded it.
