Wesley Richardson ur so ungrateful calling ur pc shitty when it can run this game on ultra settings while I’m over here playing medieval total war instead cause it cannot handle Rome 2s low settings

I might get this game, from all of the gameplay's that I have seen of it, it looks like a rather interesting game.

Total war shogun 2 is better

A total War game I would love to see would be set in the Chinese Warring States period. I feel that's a time that gets much less public attention and it saw the rise of some incredible warriors.

The Romans did not fight in that way because the driving force of the Legions was to always fight compact and in line, moreover the shields were rectangular as they had to perfectly match each other both to seal the line and to form the "Testudo".

this was just an randomly fight, at the realese of the game after i was on Denmark. it took me 135 turns before i could move out from Italy, so i made my step to engage Chartage at and Gaul, and Spain, even Greece, wich i made my mistake to defeat ;P but i managed to keep Chartage on this video :)

I already have it in steam but i am lack of computer performance , an Intel Premium Laptop with 2 GB ram, ;_; Anyway nice tactic there , drive them out slowly but surely . With some funny thing there in the beginning after you capture the first flag your army just move past a kiosk XD

I wouldn't actually call it D-Day. It somehow more looks like the enemy is hopelessly outnumbered and the romans are suffering hardly any losses at all.

Would have been awesome if archers would have attacked the Romans as soon as they arrived on the beach like the movie troy but still nice :) unfortunately i don't have Rtw 2 yet but after i got my drivers license then i will buy a gamer computer and play til the game breaks ;)

yess indeed, my wishes is that they making an Troyan war, where thousands ships arrives in Troyan beach and the archers shooting down at the Myrmidons, and Achilles etc etc. and 50 thousands men marching towards Troy, and lots of archer on the wall etc etc ^^

Kledi Sina hey, as far as i can see you can drive it on extreme dude. but if you have I5 processor then you would be able to play on extreme if you have higher you have no worries :)

You would not jump from that height in full Roman armor. Those outfits weighed around 60kg.

you cannot let the marines go on the beach in campain. while siege or battle near land. then they can go to land to assist your army or fight for them self.

what did you mean? there is no package about Rome on sea, it comes even wich Rome 2 total war game you buy. you can also use your Land army to just move on water and they just getting an fleet and then war begins at your first city engage ^^

no, they arent, this was few days after the realese of the game. wen the graphs were bad, but my geforce driver is tired out so i cant run it on full, maybe medium, and resolation at 1200x1084 or something. but that is the best i can gett now after they patched it.

agreed, the whole game is epic, but the work is done bad, AI is complete fucked upp and "Magical flags" in midle of nothing in the frontline. all strattegy is complete destroyd from Total war. i will keep upp my rome vid, and continue to Shogun instead, because that is even better. follow "Angryjoe" on youtube and you will see what he means about rome 2 ^^

i use fraps. step 1: start upp fraps step 2: find movies on the fraps step 3: then click on the "Hide mouse cursor in video"

Praetorians were the Emperor's personal guard, not army soldiers. If you want your game to look more realistic you shouldn't use them in the army unless the Emperor himself were commanding the assault; but that only happened on A.D., when emperors began to emerge from the ranks of the army, like Vespasian. I don't know if you care about your game to keep faithful to the history, though. But I myself like that in my game, including the conquest of all the lands and provinces around the Mediterranean exactly like happened in the history. :P Besides, praetorians are too strong units to deal with such crappy units like these ones in the vid; it's kind of cowardice. It's too easy! :P

true enough about the history :) and i used alot of time to come out of Italy, so that's why i have came so far with Praetorians. this was after it's realese, not far form it either. i love to take my time to build my City of Rome, and Capua etc. and see my army marching to conquer around. but yet i failed on the campain, i was to stupid to engage Gaul, Spain, and Epirus at same time. i were allianced with Sparta and Athens. it is not even cowardly to use Praetorians in battles, many uses them because they are strong. you want to conquer you have to use the best offer ^^ besides i would loved an great historical game like you said. if you have any in mind share and i mod it to my game ^^ and as all know, the game sucked wen the enemy reatreting long before the battle even started. i tryed no morale, damn that was long and bloody battle. but it bugged at times, so i tryed another with strong morale, hardly enough to gett an challenge :3 not even my Praetorians can stand with such. ;P

I believe Octavian Caesar (also called Augustus Caesar) used his praetorians in battle, aiding Mark Antony against the "murderers of Julius Caesar", using about 2000-3000 praetorians, and loosing about all of them. I am not sure if it was the correct number or if he as aiding Mark Antony, but Octavian Caesar sure used them in battle and lost almost all of them. The battle turned into victory.

i think he used the praetorians after they defeated Gaius Brutus. and Gaius Octavian Agustus used the praetorians against Antony. i think against Brutus they used the 13th Legion and 11th Legion.

we maybe have right ;P but my opinion that Octavian used the Praetorians just to protect him wen the battle was going. but dindt used them wen he engaged Antony. i havent read much, i just using my theory to find alitle ;P but you may also be right ^^

here's my game setting at ultra, at its realese. that sucked ass, but after they fixed the graphic, then it went laggy. so i had to set down to low. after i bought a new comp, then play on ultra, now i have sold it. hope you having fun with the game :)
