Rolex Service Under Warranty! "116000" Oyster Perpetual 36

I took the watch in a month ago due to a rotor issue and went home with a claim check. I returned today after GETTING THE CALL. The representative returned my watch to me in a leather service pouch, assured me the watchmaker took a look and addressed the issue, and requested me to sign a service release form. It was a marvellous experience and I can only imagine the same degree of service is also provided during a watch purchase (one can dream...)

It’s a Roles it should be perfect and so should be their response , for the money I would expect nothing other than perfection.

Awesome watch, I also own a 116000 but with the blue 369 dial. Thanks for the great video.

The slimming down of the lugs on the 36mm OP is in keeping with slimming down across the full model line. This wasn’t to target the female market, as its been across all model lines. The super case marked Rolex’s foray into the modern updated steel/ceramic era and is now scaling back across the board to appear more streamlined. The substantial decrease in size say the 34mm OP the 124200 vs the 114200 however was done to achieve that, with its 18mm bracelet and 40mm lug to lug. Perhaps even the newest 36mm Explorer with its 19mm lug width and significant taper to 14mm. However the 36mm explorer does have historical Rolex roots dating back to 35mm precisions of the past which had the same bracelet width and taper, so there was a historical precedent in men’s size so its difficult to say for sure. The new 34mm OP however was never made in its current diminutive dimensions….but again there were 31mm oysters back in the day for men that wore even smaller so who knows. I personally think the perception of ladies wearing men’s size watches is far less common than talked about. Sure there are niche (and wealthy) women who will wear a Daytona. But most women opt for the 31mm datejust more than any watch on the market still. I think if a woman wants an oversized watch…they wouldn’t be put off by .35 mm lug widths, I’d think that would actually be a plus to achieve a “chunkier” oversized look. Just my 2 cents!

The White Dial is Timeless .🤍 Glad the issue was addressed . You should have asked for a Ball Cap or a Tie ! Swag for your inconvenience ? Or .. Blackmail to overlook the incompetency 😅
