Chris Hemsworth taking the bullet for Love and Thunder is nice of him, but it is the directors call. It is the director that sets the tone. It is the director that makes final cut. You could make the argument that it's on both of them, but it's ultimately the director's responsibility.

He is big enough of a talent to have some say over it. Taika is also his friend, so he would have probably listened to him. He can also refuse if a future goofy movie is being produced and ask for a serious tone for him to be a part of it. Love and Thunder was mostly Taika's fault though.

For future Dwayne Johnson movies, studios should put in his contract, for every hour that he is late will come out of his pay.

If the main producer is his business partner. Where they are also making money perhaps even more money outside of the film industry.... It likely cause him money on the back end. Which is why he continues to be able to do it, and why he continues to get work. He's essentially taking those costs with 7 Bucks production.

Chris Hemworths statement was a great pr. Shows he has humility and accountability while soft pitching a Thor 5.

Patrick H. Willem a few months ago did a video about Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynold talking about how in the last decade or so, both have used their movie roles to push their brands more than their acting craft. Johnson and Reynolds no longer take roles like Pain and Gain and Buried, respectively. Now they basically just play a weighted version of themselves or what their brand portrays them as. After that, I kind of lost respect for them.

sorry, guys, but bob paycheck is the guilty party in the misstep that is 'love and thunder". he interfered with waititi's edit of the movie to make it fit into showing an extra time per day in theatres. that explains why they left out the scene where zeus shows thor how the thunderbolt works. which is a pivotal piece of info in that movie. and how does thor learn that using mjolnir was interfering with her chemo. that's on paycheck not hemsworth.

In regards to Dewayne Johnson's tardiness, could a project head recoup that money from an actor's pay?

The next Thor should be titled simply: Thor: the god of thunder And forget the silliness but also he doesn’t have to do Shakespeare…. There’s a balance to be found between comedy and drama, you can have both. They just tried one thing, it worked for a movie but then they just went off the rails.

Deadpool and Wolverine might do a 200 million opening because people will wanna avoid spoilers for all the cameos and stuff.

I’m disappointed. I wished they would have let Anthony/Sam have a chance to shine as Captain America. Hell they hammered home Peggy Carter in What If and no one wanted that. Sam had one episode. Like damn Kevin brother can’t even live.

The Cosmic Wonder often mentions how he believes Spider-Man 4 will feature Peter putting his personal life aside and focusing only on being Spidey. I can't help but picture a Spidey film where he never leaves the suit and the slower, character moments will just be him hanging about in random parts of the city and narrating the film through his inner monologue 😮

Obviously Ned is going on a villain arc, and that's the thing that makes Peter realize that if he's not in Ned's life to ground him, he wind up a victim of his ego and becomes a villain.

Yeah, everyone can forgive one hour if you have an electrifying persona. But eight hours is a full work-day.

For Spider-Man, it shouldn't be Peter that looks for Ned and MJ as that would devalue his decision at the end of the last film.

I'm for them getting rid of Peter's friends. I'm sick of them trying to create a story for Spiderman involving his "friends". They are two regular people getting into extreme situations. Stop that. Lets introduce a real Mary Jane with red hair and all and some new people to fulfill the dimensions of the Spiderman that John is talking about. Enough of the "home" titles as well. What's with all this "Home" nonsense? Get away from that. Better titles for these films please.

I think Chris Evans does show up in Deadpool and Wolverine, but not as Steve Rogers/ Captain America, he will show up as The Human Torch from the 20th Fox F4 movies. Deadpool will throw a joke of course about the whole situation.

Ad I've said before, I'm pretty sure Chris Evans (and possibly RDJ) will be in the post credits scene of Deadpool & Wolverine. Doesn't mean they're coming back to the MCU, but I think they're going to have a short interaction with Deadpool and Wolverine

I am still convinced that the "Armor Wars" project with Don Cheadle is actually "Iron Man 4" and that Robert Downey Jr. will return in that movie as the AI version of himself. I could see Chris Evans popping up in Deadpool 3 as a cameo for comedy but definitely by Secret Wars I am sure we will see the entire original Avengers team back on screen together.

While I do think Spider-Man does have his OGs, he is also about leaving them behind and finding new people and then reconnecting later. Of course they should be around, but I don’t think them being central makes sense because I just feel like what was the point in him losing them?? Maybe they will do a time skip.

The Rock's a douche, he is overrated (take off Fast Furious movies because they would make $$$$ w/o him) his movies arent a big draw (except for Jumanji). Hemsworth is awesome, cant wait for Thor 5 in 2026, and I cant wait to see Evans back as Cap, he is my favorite character in the MCU.
