Replacing the fog light assemblies in my Lexus CT200h

Hello everyone! Welcome back to @AutoScholarwithMrB ! Today we are replacing the fog lights in my CT200h with new LED units purchased from ebay.
The fog lights were cheap, TOO CHEAP! They came in a plain box, not padding, and NO INSTRUCTIONS! I figured they couldn't be too complicated, but I was wrong. Turns out these have two sets of LEDs and the polarity can be changed. This made for a confusing operation, which I explain in the video.
Fitment was also not correct but was easily fixable by trimming one tab. I wasn't expecting perfection out of $35 fog lights anyway. Either way, not too bad of a deal as long as you know how they operate, which at first I did not.

Thanks for the video. Helped a lot. In order to reset the light color on both lamps just switch on an off, pause, repeat, etc. They say.
Why change the assembly when you can just change the bulb to led
Although sold out, product mentions its not compatible with the ct200h. Any other recommendations? Thanks

They must have added that after this video, because it did not say that when I ordered it. I will see if I can find another and report back.

What you say is not true! I myself asked for a pair with my specifications, they asked me in a new mail to provide exact make,model,year (2011), and guess what ? Same fkng problem. Maybe 2011 in mandarin is 2014. Who knows?
How bright are these fogs at night on the road?

Not crazy bright, they are maybe a small step up from stock
You bought fog lamps for the 2014 version, therefore that do not fit

If you follow the link in the video description to the fog lights, the application guide states they fit 2011-2014. Maybe they sent me the wrong ones?
