I would keep the front doors for sure. Those doors are truly beautiful. Then i would paint those doors semi light grey. Grey will go very well to match the silver window you mention. The reno looks great so far compared to the first video of yours that showed what you were planning to do last year. I can't wait to see the finished product. I think many of us are waiting for that moment when you bring in the furniture and it's turn key. Cheers, from New York City.

I would restore the door. I also agree with larger bathtub if you enjoy nice relaxing soaks. It looks like things are coming together nicely. I did find it odd that you can't find the correct size circular saw blade. I assume that it is a 12-16" blade.

RESTORE THE DOOR! Repeat after me: Restore the door! Would your contractor friend be up to casing the white vinyl windows in repurposed and/or restored wood to match the Spanish style/look/feel of the current lovely front door? Could be an awesome way to retain the wood feels that vinyl just doesn't have?

Great update, think that tub is going to look super nice in front of the feature tile! I would restore the door. In my opinion wood tones and white go together just fine and if you restore the door that will be the focal point anyway so don't think it will clash with the window.

Ah cool. I bought in Xativa a few months ago and moving there next month. But also looking for cheap properties around there to renovate and rent. I think that many places in Spain are clearly underrated@@traveltomoney

l would restore and paint the doors, in a flat satin finish. l can send you my front doors l had restored and painted, if l can find an email ad for you. Also l can send you my latest property i have finished the refurb and is now up for sale in Benissa area.

spain has big problems with squatters who have more rights than the home owner himself. there are hundreds of thousands of occupied homes in spain. I myself lived in Spain for 10 years, once they come in it will take several years to get them out as the law is on their side. your home in Spain will most likely be occupied as you are not there permanently so would not call it an investment
