I think the plosive actually showed what he felt about those patrons. It wasn't careless or gratuitous, it was purposeful.

@4.30 it's not a vulnerable place in his voice, he understands the song he is singing.

I didn't realize the vocal breaks were intentional! I just thought it was his accent coming out, haha! My siblings and I will do that all the time when we make fun of country songs.

Good stuff! You should react to a live performance by Ben Platt. I recommend his Grammy performance, Tony performance, or one of the performances of his song “older”

React to an evolution of Lewis Capaldi's voice. I feel like it has been deteriorating after his non-stop touring recently. His rasp that he is known for has seem to have almost disappeared. If you take earlier performances of Someone You Loved vs. recent performances of Someone You Loved, you can tell the difference. I just want to know what he is doing technique wise that may be changing his vocal habits.
