I love them both and i will never decide between them.

Jeremy Jordan has a poppier vibe that almost sounds more personal and earnest sometimes, but Aaron has the very clean classical sound and they're both extremely good.

Apples and Oranges. Jeremy has an immediate emotional connection, Aaron has a power that's visceral. Taught both of them, and they were filled with such joy when they sang it was impossible not to bring your A game.

So was Ben Platt, he used to be a straight up voice major(like Aaron and Jeremy)and grew up singing classical music, and then when he was a high school senior he discovered a different path and went on to play Marius in Les Mis.

Aaron has a voice that truly allows one to float to the music. But Jeremy (my love) has a voice that punches at your heart and forces you to feel the emotions that he's projecting. That's me anyway.

This really sums it up for me. Whenever I listen to a song sung by Aaron it'll play itself in my head for next couple of days in whole detail. He really makes you "consume" that whole piece of music. Watching the Jeremy parts, at least for me, his singing opens up a bit more towards the character he's singing. I don't know, they're both so talented in what they're doing, it's really complicated to describe the difference to my music-noob brain.

(Sorry this is late lmao) If you wanna REALLY swoon, watch his Pop Medley. There's a few, but specifically the one where he sang "Shake it Off" is good. That isnt the song where I swooned, but you'll know it when you see it. Let's just say I wish I were a mic stand.

Each is individually extraordinary. I do not want to compare because that would infer that one is better than the other. Their styles are so different, it's just a matter of taste because both have the ability to touch your soul and bring out such emotion that you tear up. Love them both!! I'd love to hear a duet!

Tveit has the clarity of classical training in an almost athletic sense. He is a gifted acrobat. Jordan is Mario Lanza. Both are precious natural resources who live their sound in different ways. Keep singling out this kind of talent and putting it out where others might find such pleasure. Thanks for your efforts

I LOVE Jeremy but you put Aaron vs anyone else and I will say Aaron everytime. His voice brings actual tears to my eyes.

I love them both, it's hard to compare. But Aaron was the first one I ever discovered.

I generally prefer Aaron Tveit's vibrato and voice, though Jeremy Jordan's singing is always really soulful. They're both very good, but if I had to pick one to see, it would be Aaron.

I love Jeremy but Aaron has my heart!

People tend to forget that Jeremy CAN sound as clean as Aaron during the more classical tunes but chooses not to in order to express the emotions of the song. It’s just a matter of choice for how he chooses to express his voice in these clips.

Forgot to mention that this could be because Jeremy in these clips, is performing with a different vibe then Aaron. Because Aaron is obviously wearing a tux in a few videos wile Jeremy tends to do small concerts and shows.

It is almost a choice between occasionally sacrificing a note to portray an emotion and portraying the emotion through the note. Both valid and wonderful choices.

Both are terrific, my personal preference is Aaron for clarity.

Not fair to ask us to choose! Love them both, but I have been an Aaron fan forever!!

Listen... I’m in love with both of them. But for those higher belting notes I feel like Jeremy sometimes sounds like he’s straining his voice whereas Aaron seems to hit them without effort. But they are both insanely talented

Jeremy is more pop-broadway and Aaron is classical-broadway..that's why....sometimes with a little bit strain it makes the song more emotional and "pop"..

Ok but cut Jeremy some slack, he's not a real Tenor. He's technically a baritone whereas Aaron is a full blooded Tenor so of course he has an easier time up there.

I love Aaron’s voice!!

While I wouldn't say one is definitely better than the other I thought it could be fun just to judge which of their voices better suits the songs they sing here. Maria: Aaron. There's something more classical about his voice that suits the abstract orchestral style of the song. Run Away With Me: Jeremy. That fucking BELT. Tonight: Aaron for the same reason as with Maria, though I appreciate Jeremy's more personal and grounded version more here. Out There: Aaron. This one was very close but that last note in Aaron's version killed me. Bring Him Home: Aaron. Not my favorite use of falsetto from Jeremy here (though I know he can use falsetto beautifully as we see later in this video). Take Me or Leave Me: Aaron. Simply an iconic performance that I listen to almost daily. Waving Through a Window: Jeremy. I like the brassiness (if that's the right word) in his voice here. to be fair to Aaron the audio quality isn't very good. Why God Why: Aaron. ARMS. I Can Go the Distance: Jeremy. He comes across more youthful and energetic here which I think is important for the song. Oh What a Beautiful Morning: Jeremy. His voice just really pulled at my heart here.

@ThatGreenDayFreak idk if I would say Aaron has a theatre legit background. he barely did any legit scored MT in his high school/college days except for maybe West Side Story and, of course, The Mikado, an operetta. he barely got cast in anything in college after he switched to musical theatre, sadly, because they thought of him as a singer only. the only theatre I know he did in college except for The Mikado is Owl Creek, Mystery of Edwin Drood (where he had an extremely small part, the Shade of Jasper, who is a dancer) and Threepenny Opera (in which he was a swing). his classical training gives him an advantage when singing legit material though, ofc! but I wouldn’t say that theatre legit is his background

I love the way Aaron portrays love. He just looks like he loves so deeply and fully when he sings. Jeremy sings like he’s a teenager in love and it’s brilliant. I love them

Both Aaron Tveit and Jermey Jordan are fine, but Aaron Tveit is my Quarantine Discovery. His interpretation of "Merry Me a Little" was the best acted ever. Somebody please star Aaron Tveit in Company on Broadway!

WE NEED THIS!!! Jeremy as Marius and Aaron as Enjolras is something I never knew I needed.

I see Jeremy jordan aarom tveit and just click. It's lemons and limes, both citrus but significantly different

The thing that blows me away is that they've both gotten better as they've aged and they were incredible to start

For me it will always be Jeremy Jordan. Aaron is amazing, but he never reaches into my chest and rips my heart out. Plus Jeremy has incredible breath control. He can hold out a note FOREVER!!!

God, wow I love them both so much and their both so talented, if I had to pick Aarron

I used to lean more towards Jeremy Jordan when I was 8, me being the crazy newsies fan I am, but Aaron is excellent at putting on a show

I love both so much, but Jeremy wins for me as he pushes so much emotion and heart into his songs. They are emotional performances. They give me feelies. Aaron... a little cold. A little technical. He rarely breaks my heart the way Jeremy Jordan does almost EVERY TIME.

They are both so talented! They cannot and don't need to be compared!

I find it wonderful that most of the comments admit to the phenomenal talents of both these wonderful stars.

They are both so wonderful. We're blessed to be able to hear them and their unique qualities for free on KZread whenever we want!

Both of them are great, Aaron has a cleaner and more technically correct voice, but I prefer the color in Jeremy's voice, he really touches your soul in a more intimate way.

Both are joy to hear and listen to. Apples and oranges is the best way to describe the two. Having seen both their work live it is nothing short of a joy to witness their talent. Dissect their differences as performers all you wish but what they each bring to the theater community is a gift we should all be grateful for.

Jeremy is great and all... but Aaron is just otherworldly. Especially in Next To Normal.

Why choose? Both are incredible and I would love for them to play opposite one another. Their voices together would be 👌🏻

Jeremy broke my heart when I saw the video of him in Newsies, and Aaron destroyed me when I saw him in Next to Normal on Broadway. Both are extraordinary

I love love love both of them. Had the amazing opportunity to see them both live! They are both phenomenal. Jeremy has this presence like he is absolutely having the time of his life when he sings and performs for people. Something about that just pulls you in and makes you feel like you're in the audience with him even when watching a youtube video. Not many people do that.

Aaron is a Barcelona Chair and Jeremy is a Wingback Armchair. Depending on mood a perfect fit. Fall into them .

Ive known Aaron for more time but something about Jeremy got to my heart in the fucking first note. When he sings he makes you feel so many things, gosh

Its super interesting because they both grsduated from the same college. Also maybe one of the reasons that Aaron sounds so clear and classical is because he first majored into vocal music but switched to musical theater

I love Aaron Tveit. He has an incredible voice. But Jeremy Jordan is THE voice. It’s other-worldly.

How could I ever choose between my two loves? I've been familiar with Aaron a lot longer, so was my first love. But Jeremy grew on me. I wish both of them could be cast in the same show.

I’ve seen Aaron perform live 9 times. He is a much better singer of any genre they perform.

If I had to chose I would say Aaron Tveit as Jeremy's voice is a slightly darker at times, however both of their vibratros are amazing. Jeremy also blends better with other singers. However, Aaron Tveit has a voice that just makes me say wow.

Aaron's timbre is really does it for me. I like his tone and resonant he can be while retaining classical virtues.

Aaron has great range and he's very smooth. But, Jeremy has a way of hitting you with the emotion so it doesn't feel like a performance every time. Jeremy Jordan is my vocal preference.

You really cant compare these two. Their vocal training is completely different. Jeremy has more of a musical theater sound, while aaron has a classical base with any style of singing on top of that. Which is why his voice is so rich, because he uses the pharynx space way more then Jeremy does. Which is why Aaron's voice can have that intense thick cry, its especially noticable during El tango de roxanne. While Jeremys cry sounds more thin because its not as well placed (but just as healthily placed) just a different style. Both fantastic singers and id do anything for either of them. Of course thats just my unprofessional opinion as a voice student who wants to be a voice teacher.

Love them both! So much talent!
