Hi! I am 57 years old, and then I'm glad to see that some people still feel the real music in their soul. It seems like you are one of them. Our world is going down, and we are still listening amazing voices, and the music, which is pure beauty. I think it's not bad , for the end of the world.

If you haven't done it yet, you should read the history of Diana. Her mother left her on a bus bench when she was 3 years old, with a broken collar bone. She was found and sent to an orphanage. She did not speak. She was adopted after a time in the orphanage and singing was used as a way to encourage her to speak. I don't know where she got this incredible voice, but I find it amazing, and her amazing, for having come through such a horrible beginning to her life and appearing to be unscathed by it. I've read she has fears that her birth mother will try to contact her now that she is a famous person in Russia. The woman who adopted her, her mother, is sometimes seen in shots during her performance. I know her mom is briefly seen in Rechenka and It's a Man's World. Likely she is in others as well but I just can't remember right now. I very much enjoyed both of your reactions to her singing. It's clear that you, like me, like millions of others, are absolutely in awe of her and the feelings she can bring out in us with that incredible voice.

This was the song that first captured my interest in Diana Dramatically it reminded me of Kate Bush but obviously a completely different sound spectrum in the voice.. Very much agree with what you discovering from this remarkable young lady .. and ive got very wide tastes 😎🇬🇧🧙‍♂️ Try her own channel if possible . The next track has to be Rechenka its in Russian but it doesnt matter its an object lesson in updating an ancient folk story and how to interpret it On stage all from an enchanting 14yr old.

Got to due Rechanka that one is so good & Human and The Crow. New subscriber and great reaction. Oh she is a Master Yodeler also. Her background is truly sad. I know there is a lot of difficulty in finding some of her original broadcast performances, you might try her own KZread channel. She does have alternate versions of some of the songs, but many are in small venues with not optimal recordings. I would suggest Rechenka next, a true showcase of some of her amazing agility, when she was only 13 or 14. Dienier Dance was one of the first songs by her that made her popular in Russia....there are some good versions out there. The song Human showcases her lower tones (and polyphonics/harmonics). Also great when she was younger is Blizzard....shows her dynamics well. The Crow, which she performed on the same show after Cant Help Falling in Love, is a really cool adaptation of a popular Russian alternative song (really cool performance, also see if you can find the original). And like a previous commenter, it is worth finding out about her background.....there are some videos about that but dont know how avaialable they are....She was the only child out of 8? that survived her mother.
