I bet you would love her pandemic lockdown cover of Take On Me. A group of Diana's fans purchased equipment so she could sing at home and gifted it to her. She recorded Take On Me and Havana from her apartment in Moscow for her fans. I think I have that story right. In any case, check it out. Human, Dernière Danse, Blizzard, or Rechenka (generally thought of as her signature performance) as they are all from the same time period. This show is called 'You Are Super' and is a talent opportunity for orphans and disadvantaged children. Diana was an orphan at an early age. Diana was 15 in this performance.

@@Reckyj Yes, this song was previously written for Lara Fabian. The competition is held under the patronage of the composer for talented children left without parental care. After winning season 1, Maestro Krutoy gave Diana and her foster mother an apartment in Moscow. This amazing project supports all children with scholarships and further musical education. Now Diana is studying at the State Theater Institute in Moscow at the Faculty of Music.

I would love to see you react to her "Rechenka" song version (the River). A pagan folk russian song for a child bride speaking to the spirits of her deseased family the day of her marriage. A haunting, otherworldy as usual experience and I think she was only 14 back then.

"Human" is in English. "Rechenka" is in Russian, but no need to understand the words to appreciate her awesome performance. Also, "Derniere Danse" which is in French...again, no need to understand the words.
