    500 is plenty 1000 will drain batt. Also digital throttle trust me. If you keep POWER down to 350 to 500. Actually goes up to 750. So you see battery better have more amps than controller. Or motor can burn. Weakest component gets HOT. controllers are supposed to get warm to Hot. Hot motors or batteries. Bad News. If controller blows $15 New. Up to 500w. Actually 750

    Hey awesome build man. I have an e200. I would do lithium too but they are so expensive fms (Fuckmyscooter) Someone is selling an e300 stock except the same throttle as yours, not working but probably a battery issue. It has a bigger motor and variable throttle. But the e200 is like 10 pounds lighter. Kind of thinking i am better off with the e200. Any tips for a beginner?

  • @dylanmoore1006

    @dylanmoore1006

    The stock motor will eventually burn out at 48v. If you keep an eye on the motor temp, it'll last a while. You can run it on 36v without worry.

    @@dylanmoore1006 that's kinda what I was thinking, getting a 36v battery instead of a 48v, also how much did you pay and where did you buy your battery?

  • @dylanmoore1006

    @dylanmoore1006

    Жыл бұрын

    @Anthony Cool Boi I got the battery from eBay. The brand is called "cao mm." you'll have better luck with 36v because the speed controller should have an overheating sensor for the motor. It will just cut off the power before the motor overheats. It goes 20mph with the 36v battery.

    You don't really need to add a 48v controller most are rated at 62v so 48v would be fine I've been running 48v battery on a zinc 150 for my daughter I did this last year and she uses it almost everyday granted she's only 8 but she's been brought up on motorbikes ect since 4 it's faster than my xiomi even though I hacked it lol I've clocked it at 27.6mph the motor barely gets hot and she can get 30 miles out of it mixed rideing however if your gunna do it and have the money spare then you are better off especially for hills as I've tried it up hills and depending how steep for an adult it will ask for more currents and ultimately cuts out to prevent damage on the controller but for her and her weight it flies up any incline never cuts out lol

    @@dylanmoore1006 they definitely do. With my 24v 250w running 36v lead acid was 21mph and lithium was 23mph. Always interesting to see what others did. Great build. Do you still have it and how long dis the motor last? Overvolted need cool downs every 10-15min after full throttle runs

    Technically, yes. But the HD uses a brushless motor, the original model is brush operated. So you will need a brushless controller matching the voltage/wattage specs of the motor and battery.
