Not a bad build, I definitely agree with you that the stock throttle is nasty. Stock controller is garbage, as you say.

How long did the shipping take?

I'm doing the same thing, picked a cheap used e300 and plan to mod it. Did you noticed much difference in range/time when going to the 350W motor?

so far ive noticed no change in range adn run time, but with the 350w motor it runs at 3000rpm and thats alot quicker and even quicker then some 500w motors but reading up i might over volt the motor to 36v so i would out put like a 700w motor

Keen to see it running some LiPo cells

looking at getting some 14v lipos and running 2 of them :)

what is the maximum speed now. and is there A big difference with this engine. and can you tell me how the throttle works..

hey so with this little mod ive gone from 14mph to now 19-21mph this varies due to wind and flat grounds but witht htis mod it has alot more get up and go and can now go on small hills no problem at all the throttle is amazing got going nice and slowly or if you want to control your speed while going fast there will be a part 2 coming soon were ill have upgraded batterys but still around 24v :)

the throttle will give ur son alot more control over the scooter if any thing this mod makes it alot safer to ride :)

Nice work! Just curious to know why have you made this scooter when you already have that lightweight scooter which is using lithium and a very energy efficient (brushless motor) compared to this Razor modified scooter that uses a brushed motor and is chain -driven?

+Richard Tan Tan i made this just as a project and for fun i know that my carbon fiber electric scooter wins hands down on distance and on weight, this is more just having some thing I've made and put my own efforts into making a crap scooter (razor e300) into some thing fun and cheap :) i also have a electric e bike too maybe i should do a video on showing that off too :)
