One of the last concerts my late hubby and I saw was Ray Stevens. We laughed till we hurt. Thank you for a very special memory and for your happy and family friendly songs. It's something this society needs desperately these days.

Ray has a unique comedic mind. The man never ceases to amaze me. He has kept me laughing all my life.

Ray Stevens can still turn out funny songs. He just never runs out of ideas.

Ray Stevens is the person to listen to when feeling down. He'll make you smile, and he'll make you laugh in no time. A wonderfully funny singer with a great voice.

My sister and I use to play his records on our old record player down in our basement. We knew all of his songs by heart! I love that he’s still making music 😂

Ray has made a gazillion dollars over the last few decades and still enjoys releasing new material from "time to time". Every second someone in this world repeats: "It's me a again Margaret"! Laughter is certainly timeless! It's wonderful to see his occasional music video (new or old) and to know he's alive & well. Glad I found this video and look forward to more.

I love Ray Stevens. Even saw him in person once! I have a video of his with several of his music videos on it, but it is so old that this isn't on there. I don't even think Taylor was around yet. Thank goodness for KZread. I love this video!

Ray turns 80 years old next month and is still going strong with his regular performances at his "CabaRay" showroom in Nashville ... pretty awesome

Wow! After all these years, I can't believe he's still making more songs. That's amazing! The Comedy Video Classics tape is like, my childhood. My grandma used to have it at her house, and just about every time we'd go over there I'd watch it! I'm rewatching them right now and laughing my ass off.

Fond memories of my great granny putting on The Streak for me and yelling “don’t look Ethel!” Her name was actually Ethel so that made it funnier. She passed away about 19 years ago but listening to Ray’s music is a way to remember good things. And this song is also very funny and I think my great granny would have loved this too!

Was 30-31 when "The Streak" was a hit. I was at a drag take in K.C. watching.husband race & took our little one year old boy to car to get him to sleep. The crowd let out a huge roar. I couldn't see what was happening & then a STREAKER ran off the track & back thru the parked cars & RIGHT IN FROMT OF ME! I laffed so hard & sang a little bit of "oh yes they call him the streak" FUN memory...thanks Ray! I'm not Ethel, but I looked!😂

That's Cyrus "Buddy" Kalb. He's been a part of Ray's inner circle for many years. If you look at the songwriter credits on a lot of Ray's recordings you'll see Buddy's name written as C.W. Kalb, Jr. The names of the songwriters appear underneath the song titles. Buddy and his wife, Carlene, wrote "The Mississippi Squirrel Revival" for Ray. Buddy's appeared on just about every music video that Ray's put together.
