It's what sold the whole film to me, I remember the music video on MTV and Clooney sold the whole song with that dance. He really was into his character and that's usually enough for me to want to see the film.
I heard that the man who sang this told his wife that she would hear his voice, but it would be coming out of George Clooney's face. She apparently said, "That's all I've ever wanted."

I cannot express how impactful this movie was to my life. For several years, my mother would don a fake beard and join in place of Delmar's character for a local Soggy Bottom Boys cover band, dance moves and interjected quotes from the movie and all. Some might think that'd be embarassing, but words can't express how much I loved seeing her have the time of her life entertaining hundreds of people across town ♥

I love final chords. After 40 years in various ensembles, choirs and bands I have experienced a lot of them. But this final chord definitely belongs in the "goosebumps" category. Great is too weak to describe. Heavenly?. You are amazing
I could watch this movie at any age - and it just resonates!!!! Watched it w my grandpa as a kid & watched it w my kids - still a HIT
This is my favorite movie of all time, I've seen it at least 30 times. I mean, I love everything the Cohen brothers touch... But this one is special
Scarily astute political observation. One politician refuses to change his outrageous and clearly unpopular political views, even in the face of his own ruin. The other politician has no political views, he just capitalizes on cultural sensations and mob mentality. This movie got layers on top of layers, y'all.

@@willnack5315 Yep. Even though the KKK was at its strongest in this movie's setting (Depression- era South), they still operated in as much secrecy as possible and their members didn't openly admit to being a part of it. Even in that environment, a political candidate openly admitting to being a member of it would be ruined.

My favorite George Clooney movie. I can't believe he did a movie so fun. I didn't think he had it in him. He's such a serious actor.

Intolerable Cruelty is a great movie with George Clooney in it, it’s light hearted and funny. Also Burn After Reading is another movie where he has a more comedic role, I think he should do more roles like that. Brad Pitt also, He was hilarious in Burn after reading.

This has to be one of the greatest comedies ever. So many great lines and characters you can identify with, like them or loath them. Cast choice was inspired, yet another Cohen brothers stunner.

One of the best movies ever made. George Clooneys best act ever. Love this movie.
This movie will forever be a classic to me.
Without a doubt, the most funny, uplifting, exhilarating and sweet scenes of human interaction in the movies. God love the Coen Brothers and this outstanding cast, script, producers and anyone who loves this movie.
One of the all time greatest movies! Brilliant.
I put off watching this film for years! When I finally looked at it I was amazed at how wonderful it was! Superb acting by everyone!

This is one of my favourite movie scenes of all time. They dont realize that since theyve been on the road their song has gotten huge. His ex wifes face when he dances is so good.
I feel like everyone has seen this film, but when I talk to people about it they so they haven't. One of my all time favourites

Excellent movie and soundtrack. One of my favorites. Timeless.
This movie is one of my all time “feel good/ laugh out loud” movies!!! Love this!! 😂😂
Hahaha..Charles Durning! Gotta love him; such a great actor. I love the part in the restaurant - "Moral fiber?!? I invented Moral Fiber!"
They were like, "You killed the vibe bro. You've gotta go." All kidding aside, I love this movie and it's soundtrack.
Coen brothers best work.. One of the greatest movies of all time!!
My dad is not a movie goer (probably 3-4 in his lifetime) and I didn’t care for trailer. Somehow my mom convinced him to watch the movie. When I returned home from college, the movie came up in conversation and dad said it was, “A pretty good movie”. Guess who bought the movie and the soundtrack before he went back to college and wore them out afterwards? Miss you dad (Jan 2015). Until we meet again.

What a coincidence! My father also loved this movie and he died on January 17, 2015 at age 90. He was a WW2 flyboy.
One of the best movies ever !!! Superb casting, timeless music, and a fine tribute to a piece of vanished Americana . Thanks to the Coen brothers for an excellent production ! A special mention for the actor George Clooney who made the lead role unforgettable !!!
