This song has always made me cry. Now, as my beloved husband passed away in February, it hss taken on new meaning for me. He died peacefully, in his sleep, but he left behind a woman whose heart is filled with renewed faith in a better world to come. My Jesus is waiting there for me. My beloved husband is waiting there, as well. I am on my way Home to them!

I turned 20 this last year, on my birthday I was in Nashville and asked for a song request in a bar and grille, I told them I liked Randy Travis and they seemed shocked! I think more young people should listen and find the value in the storytelling that can be so deep in this subgenre of country.

In my twenties, I discovered Randy Travis. My heart has not traveled beyond his music. Thank you for your incredible voice. :)
He likes what he likes and has what he has. That's why he's got boldness, confidence and sound mindedness. That's all there is to say about this sincere guy named Randy.
Thankful to have seen him live when he had only one album out. No lip sync, no Autotune, no BS - just talent.

This brought me to tears after nearly two years of having a massive stroke he found his voice again true legends never die and him and Willie are living proof
Wonderful song with inspiration performed by one of the greatest singers of our time, Mr. Randy Travis. I wish him and his wife the best and want him to know that I am looking forward to the day when he can sing this song again on center stage of the Grand Ole Opry. My prayers are with him.
.. that's two of MY favorite songs, {and I listen too a wide genra of music} and, Randy Travis performs two of them 🎶☮️🌠✨
I looooove 90's country. But I didn't break down in tears just now because of the nostalgia, but because I related to this song. Growing up as a Christian I always thought I saw it from one side, but singing it just now, I realized it hit so hard because I am the one from the other side.
Elvis was the king of rock n roll, Randy is the king of country 🙌 ❤
So glad he is singing his wonderful music again!!! Love you Randy!!!
❤God blessed this man to give us beautiful music. ❤Heavenly Father touch him and his wife and family with a special blessing today.❤In Jesus name I pray Amen.

My missus passed last July after 45 years of marriage. I am such an emotional mess and this song always brings tears to this hardened old heart. "It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you, it's what you leave behind you when you go". Such a true statement. ...that is all...

THIS ONE ----------AND-------- """IN THE GHETTO""""
Just heard this song for the first time. I sobbed
I just had to come and listen to this song. I lost my dad on new year's eve 6 years ago. This was a song we both loved.
I want to thank God for this man right here the wisdom the grace and enjoys brought to our lives there will never be another like him, and while he struggles through the recovery from his stroke put on Tik-Tok and reaching other people's lives still to this day with his stroke and in full recovery it's amazing he's an inspiration to us all
Always be greatful for what you have, and don't be jealous of what youdon't. It's all a part of the greater plan. I grew up with this song. But I never truly understood until I became catholic. God bless anyone that reads this. God bless the souls in purgatory. And God bless those we don't think of on a daily basis. They need our prayers the most. And what does it hurt you in the long run to pray? Pray for me too, if it's in your heart 🙏

I hit some tough times in 2008. Among the other things I used to climb back, was also country music. I chose only those with the positive outlook. US is 0 much more: "Well, you did fell down, but now you GET UP BY YOURSELF and fight to win." NO such thing here in the EU where everybody looks for outside help. Thank you country guys for helping me! I DID win and all is well on 2024.
Great live harmonizing. When you take a voice like Randy Travis and he starts singing gospel I feel like I'm in the presence of The Lord. Just a feeling of total inner peace. 😇🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful and meaningful song. Never heard it before. Bless you Randy

HE WILL GIVE IT TO YOU, 100% GUARANTEED. Then wake up tomorrow and strat writing the rest of your book, a glorious return to faith, and hope and the love of your Father in Heaven. The most magnificent thing about Randy Travis is that he is a true believer in Jesus🙏🙏❤️ If the Lord chooses you to send a message to the world you are something special to Him. WE ARE ALL SINNERS. Even when your sin is your pride in your purity. If you think you have righteousness nailed, your pride is a roadblock to God.
