One of the best shows I have ever seen (and I have seen most of the greats before they were even famous) was Ralphie May near the end of his life. He was in a wheelchair and I bought some of this BBQ sauce that went to his rescue dog fund. That show was one of the best things I have ever seen. He was so full of energy and life, it was amazing. I will never forget it.

genius 🤯😻 Discovered him today September 30, 2023, so sad I went to find more and he is dead. "When I was a kid, my grandmother taught me how to crochet and how to quilt, and that's kind of how I do an act. I have one-liners, I have dirty jokes, but I also have long stories that are 10 or 20 minutes long and the laughs come every eight seconds. It's a different set. And it's a different life than most people have led."

I would have loved to have witnessed the glory of him bringing that lady down a notch-talking shit in California! It's so enjoyable to see some one speak with respect, no name calling or cussing, use actual facts make it humorous & completely annihilate someone who chooses to make ignorant statements!! Completely shut her down! It would have been great to see him debate leaders & politicians on Meet The Press or Face The Nation! Swatting down the flies of bullshit flying from their steaming piles of bullshit!!😄

Wow what a great argument he definitely didn't invent in his head and definitely happened. His logic of "We need slave labor because the people we pay not to work would rather get paid to not work instead of getting paid to work and no country in the history of the world has ever managed to pick vegetables without Mexican slave labor" is just so unassailable. All I wanted was to see that clip about Ralphie talking about fat people loving salads and instead I got a Tumblr post disguised as standup.

I felt as if something was hurting my chest like we just lost another celebrity, just that hunch. I miss him so much he was the only one who did racial comedy but so much respect.

This is what comedy is about, nothing off limits and freedom of speech. What would he think of WOKE that is now putting the fear of God into anyone saying almost anything. RIP you made us laugh without upsetting anyone you were so good ❤

"If you think you're getting Black people back in the same fields....." No lie! My father (& his siblings) grew up in the south & worked in the cotton fields when school was out. Now when we drive past them on visits they (unconsciously) speed up.... like....Ricky Bobby. One time I asked my aunt if she was trying to outrun them.
