Ralphie on Ron White's Salute the Troops

Комедия

In 2013 Ralphie was invited to perform with Ron White in a benefit show for the USO where he talked about his many years of performing for the troops and the time he caused a Black Hawk helicopter to fishtail while under fire.

"where ever you guys go, I'm there with you...." Covered for this dude as a contractor (Retired Marine here), he was as fearless and funny on the tarmac as the stage. Just another great talent burnt the candle too fast. R.I.P. Ralphie (fellow Texan), the gates are guarded by Jarheads waiting for the next joke.

I know you don't need my thanks, brotha'. My dad was WWII Marine veteran, my first cousin is USMC Lt. Col. fighter pilot (ret.) and I served our country by giving the best years of my life playing BASS GUITAR in LA rock bands. We all do what we can. Envious you got to spend time with the great RALPHIE MAY. I'm glad to know he's got them jarheads around him...probably just giving him more material. Semper Fi and Rock On!

Amazing comedian and funny as all hell! Rest in peace big guy. Every time it rains you are probably responsible. Making the almighty laugh so hard he cries.

@@xPreatorianx1 uh, this is not true at all. If it was, why are we still listening to him? 40 years ago, maybe, but thanks to people like Carlin, Pryor, George Lopez etc. Ralphie was free to bring his honesty to us, and make us f'ing laugh. He set the bar WAY high, and current comics are still bringing it. And I agree....Rest In Peace, Ralphie!

Being born with heart problems puts a real damper on any prospects of joining the military, no matter how strong or how smart one is. To add insult to injury, the was also the time the military was letting politics slam women into combat roles despite their best performers getting blown out of the water by low-end male recruits across the board. It made the excuse: "Your condition would jeopardize the combat effectiveness of your unit" sound much more hollow and weightless.

Ralph's mediocre joke writer at best and his fake stage persona is not quite Amy Schumer level, but almost top tier annoying lol he was a c minus comic at best, annoying fake on stage persona, and yes by all accounts he was a VERY VERY VERY kind generous good dude, and a a plus person, but nowhere near top tier comic and sub par funny person. I know he was a GREAT good person, but let's not allow his death to rewrite or fabricate revisionist history that suddenly makes him a great hilarious comic. There's ten thousand comics who are funny people and funny comics that are billion times funnier people and funnier comics, ralphie was not only now where near a top tier funny grade, but he wasn't even second tier, he was sub par, and a c minus grade on him funn as person and as a comic, is being generous. And I repeat I'm not hatin I don't dislike him, and I know he was a good person, but let's keep it real and honest ok? You could've said he was great guy one the nicest kindest most generous people, I wouldnt of said a peep, but one funniest ever? He was certainly NOT
