Well, there was definitely some sort of very strong force that drew young Campion to Vril. The attraction was so immediate and apparent. I'm not so sure about VRIL being older in real life though only because I think that would mean Decima would have to be a bit older herself. Also "destroyed herself" can definitely be left open to interpretation.

You've taken this down an unexpected, but extremely interesting rabbit hole. How the hell did you realise the VRIL connection???

There isn’t a Vrille connection, she just theorized all of this. There’s nothing in the show that ties her with the real Campion Sturgess.

Ridley Scott loves strong female characters. I hope Vrille is one of them.

It would be pretty interesting if we actually see the past Vrill via flashbacks in later seasons (like maybe 2-4 years later) in a much older form/looks as it's basically a natural perfect looks with how the actress also getting older IRL LOL I also just realized that season 2 have zero flashback scenes from earth.

OMG I would absolutely love that! Morgan Santos (I believe is her name) is a great little actress. Those Vrille death glares are top notch for such a young lady! Also very good point about the earth scenes! I was sorely disappointed to get no Campion Sturges, either. But I'm a heckin simp for Mother + Campion Sturges! 😍😂

@@FeyFire I can't believe I forgot about this, but in Scottish myth, a child born with a "Caul" is a "changeling" (swopped by or touched by the Fairies) that will die before adulthood.. Campion was born with a Caul. There's also a creature called a "Cambion" that is half Human, half demon..lol Grandmother may even be the equivalent of "Tinkerbell" Merlin (from Arthurian legend) was thought to be a "Cambion" too

I like this idea a lot! I've also thought about this. It's a perfect touch that the message is encrypted; it will take knowledge to gain it's truth.

I had similar thought. But to parallel what’s been happening. I assumed real vrill was also an android. That’s why real campion loves mother. He misses “real” vrill. Cause real vrill the first sentient emotional android was in love and with campion before she self destructed.

If season 3 does a full ep on real Vrille titled 'It Wasn't All For Nothing!', that'd be nice.lol What exactly did she mean by 'It wasn't all for nothing'? Maybe she was finely getting to prove herself by providing the texts? Maybe that was her primary function? Or maybe she was talking about her experiences/life, and the good parts were worth the bad....like a Human may surmise? If she's got a soul, would it be uploaded to Sol? Gonna be a long 2 years!😫

😭 "it wasn't all for nothing" so heartbreaking! Perhaps this is referring to Decima programming Vrille at all - maybe it ties into her breaking her neck? Perhaps Decima was experimenting on Vrille with the vril fusion? So many unanswered questions!

The necromancers could possibly shut themselves down after they have no more directives to full fill. The real Campion, via the Entity, told mother in the SIM that shutting herself down was the only way for her to not exist any longer.

Lol, this entire theory is based on a hypothetical scenario in which Real Vrille stayed on earth to be in a relationship with Campion Sturgess. There’s nothing in the show to actually support any of this though and it enters the Star Wars “everyone is related” territory.

You used one line about Real Krille being “destroyed” and not “killed” to justify your theory that she stayed on Earth as Campion’s lover, yet ignored several other statements by Decima, Marcus, and Android Krille referring to Real Krille’s “death”. I don’t agree that it’s a viable theory but do like your content and subscribed to your channel. Arguing with the comment section is fine but getting offended wont accomplish anything.

It may have been what Decima had access to (I think she programmed Vrille in transit to Kepler); it may also have been to seen as less conspicuous since she is loaded with extremely sensitive data.
