Don’t think GM and Sol are a team. Their goals are different. Sol needs evolved humans to do his work while GM wants to devolve them so they don’t destroy each other.

My idea is that the technocrats built their machines on Kepplar, possibly inspired by the entity, or maybe the entity has been created by them. Then they escaped to Earth bringing their manuals with them, which then became the scriptures and the entity was no longer considered a fact by future generations on Earth, it got the name Sol instead. So now that they've come back to Kepplar, they see the entity and Sol are the same. Sue actually said that: what on earth was myth here is a reality.

Mother specifically asked Campian why would he _choose_ to love a machine. I thought that said quite a bit about how disconnected from her emotions she was as much as the question itself.

You know the more I contemplate the idea of 7 being innocent, the more I find myself believing it. I do believe 7 ate the tree because that was it's programming. It had no choice. But once it weaponized, and it still being so young and with emotions, maybe 7 didn't quite understand what was happening to itself. Did 7 know it's screams were now deadly? Maybe when it screamed at mother, it did so not knowing it was attacking hee. Then feeling confused and emotional and guilty for attacking mother, 7 went off to find the one person that had always been nice to him, Campion. Of course a giant weaponized snake coming towards you would be taken as an attack.

Exactly! I think he was trying to play with Campion. That's his brother and they both know it, I even think Campion could tell. Number Seven doesn't know the humans can't withstand the acid water. He could have blasted Campion with his Necro scream but instead he dialed it down and just splashed him. I'm so sad. Lol I know it's a friggin TV necroserpent but my GD heart is broken for Number Seven. (Dany's dragons ain't got sh*t on this heartache!)

Yea I don't think 7 was really doing anything intentional. If it was it would've gone straight for the camp right? but one thing I noticed was when 7 tried to connect to mothers ports, it wrapped its tentacles around her arms and legs to hold her. But maybe while weaponized it's stuck in an aggressive state. Crazy though that mother then grabbed its tentacles to hold it. She's stronger than a God Damn necro lightning dragon. Definitely a cool creature the show created here.

I too was saddened by #7’s death. Once I saw how it was trying to embrace mother, it was clear it didn’t mean harm to her or probably even Campion. I wish #7 had just died in high altitude or from the fall. The stab through the eye was just too much IMO. I know it showed the heartlessness caused by the vail, but there could have been other ways to communicate that to us. It’s odd. There are times the writers seem to want us to visualize something, then other times they have a character just state the obvious like grandmother giving us her “evil plot synopsis”. Hmm. I wonder.

I keep thinking back to Holly saying something along the lines of "all androids lie", the same episode that grandmother said she was a shepard (ep 7). I think that was a huge clue not to believe anything grandmother says regarding her relationship to the entity.

I think at some point, two technocrats with some embryos fled from Kepplar because they were devolving into the mercreatures. . The wicked have laid a trap for me". I think its foreshadowing Mothers escape from imprisonment by becoming a servent of Sol (Mitras, hive-mind-planet-core-thingy). She will be: 1-Desperate enough, 2-Alone and vulnerable somewhere we know he can enter, 3-Quite literally be asking for it.

I think the entity wants humans to evolve past the point of destroying each other prob through a human android hybrid. I also think the entity used to live in fathers body. And grandma is Sol, trying to keep humans dumb so they dont destroy each other. The conversation they had about happiness with two opposing points of view, and all the hints that father is sturdy and that his conciousness could be transferred + grandma being all gold and luminous & her association with the sol symbol and her thinking father was her partner and asking why he removed the veil, maybe removing the veil is how father turned into the entity.

I thought the weather changes was because of mother damaging the electromagnetic field when mother destroyed no7. Also I’ve always noticed mothers necromancer pose and how she with her arms out and feet crossed is more like Jesus being crucified, whereas Marcus is upside down and feet out. So many theories! Good catch with the reflections

Your analysis of the reflection off the helmet is a perfect example of how people just see what they want to see. You are comparing two different scenes under two different sources of light. The only time we get to see the helmet on both Mother and Grandmother in the same cut is when Mother first gets the helmet. And in that scene the light reflected off the helmet is round for both Mother and Grandmother because they are standing under the same light.

Another thought occurred to me concerning Sue: She was barren ( could not produce the fruit of labor: children ) and Sol gave her her ultimate wish, to bare fruit. Also, the five branches she produced and the ability of her fruit to nourish… whether or not something ill happens to the colonists that ate of her fruit, they all seemed to enjoy and be nourished by it, which is the desire of every mother. Now, the fact that Number Seven devoured her, fruit and all, what does that portend?? Was Seven so deprived of nourishment after being imprisoned that it over compensated?? Also, it reached out to Mother’s ports/nipples only to find them sealed off ( By Sue, might I add )… and did everyone notice that Seven was firing into the ocean, most likely at devolved mer-humanoids, instead of Campion?? Campion, which is very close to the word Champion, and based off of the flowers that were used to crown a returning hero… is also very close to the word Companion, which literally means in Latin, breaks/shares bread with, which is where the term Communion and all of its Christian meanings derive from… Indeed, Raised by Wolves, ( Romulus and Remus, the mythical founders of Rome, were orphaned and suckled by a wolf ) is a complex narrative worthy of enjoyment and further inspection!!

Great video, and yes, the murder of number 7 was entirely heartbreaking. How Mother will deal with knowing she was tricked into killing him? What was the point of the snake being intelligent if it had no way to communicate?

The moral of the show is that no matter what mother always wins. Even when grandmother steps in with extra snacks, mother has the last word! So respect your mother and don't mess with mother 😎

I really think Sue's conciousness -or what was left of her- somehow helped Marcus there, or maybe S and M made a deal with the Entity to keep whats left of the dying tree alive meanwhile still acting as a conduit for the entity (or try to revive the tree)... My understanding is that the dead tree is actually the original Sue tree that the snake consumed.

Number 7 was an agent of Sol but the tropical zone's emf stopped him from being influenced by Sol. The serpent ate the tree because he was supposed to. The processor of the serpent may be able to be transplanted into another body, maybe in Vrille? The tree is the same tree but undigested and still a conduit for Sol to transmit. The helmet probably changed Marcus into a human/necromancer hybrid as the same dark photon noise could be heard from his hovering body. I believe Marcus is now Sol made flesh to enact his vengeance on humans and the planet, which I believe is a prison for Sol, who is an ancient human/technocrat/android hybrid. Grand Mother is not working for Sol, she is just too extreme. Campion Sturges will return in season 3 as Campion, not Sol. Oh, and the people will worship Mother as a god and use Vrille's words as its text. My take on things.

Poor Number 7; puberty is a tough time for anyone, let alone when brother doesn’t want to play, and mother kills him!

This whole thing feels like a time loop, although I don’t think it is. Just like Vrilles writing and the trust prisoner saying that he wanted to go home(earth) and the carving showing a ship with seeds heading toward earth in season one. I don’t even know how that could be but all the clues seem to lead to things that have already happened.I guess it’s just history repeating itself 🤷‍♀️

@@fmaries7000 yeah that’s a theory that I can only see happen in season 4 or 5 and I’m not convinced that killing the snake was the right thing to do anyway. The entity may have created the snake so that mother would destroy the magnetic force field so that the entity can communicate and control the people. Why? That’s uncertain unless it is trapped. If grandmother causes all intelligent life to de-evolve then she may in fact in fact prevent that from happening. What really blows my mind is how did the sol religion even get started on earth with all of the relics that seem to be related are on Kepler. Especially with the cave carving. It also seems to be too coincidental that Campion made a copy of Vrilles history and they made a point to tell us that her mother sold and created weapons( Not sure if it had any necromancer specs on there but… idk I’m probably over thinking this and way off 😛

What happens, if Mother is able to download her memories / personality into a human being 🤔 Marcus proves that some of Mothers abilites can be transferred into Humans. So, by getting her Eyes back and having time in the simulation within The Pod will Mother refine the crossover leading to her becoming a new advanced type of Human that has some of the military android applications whilst able to become pregnant leading to her DNA continuing eventually becoming the ruling class in Earth that causes a future Civil War thus "Raised by Wolves" is an orginanc time-loop 🤔

I don't think that GM was connected to Sole. I think GM told the truth when she said she was made by the technocrats and they were at war with the believers. To me this is confirmed when GM said that once all the humans are de-evolved then the signal will fade. Since Sole is the signal I think the technocrats created GM to fight the believers and combat the signal but instead GM got the idea to de-evolve them and turned them all into those creatures and the people that got away (believers) are still somewhat intelligent because they got away. I also think Sole told Lucious what he wanted to hear so he could unknowingly evolve Marcus to combat GM. So far this is following the prophecy and Marcus conqured the sword (serpent) by being resurrected on it, indicating that he is the prophet. Also the tree of knowledge may be an antidote to de-evolution and the people who ate from it might be safe from its effects... or it could be a way to cure them.

I have this feeling too. When GM said the entity wanted to destroy the planet, she might have meant that it was trying to keep humans from de-evolving, which in GM's eyes would destroy the planet. Humanity's greed and desire result in a never ending cycle of destruction of themselves AND their environment (as we heard fake Campion Sturges say in the sim when he impregnated Mother). Which...damn. Maybe that wasn't Sol in the Sim? Maybe that was a remnant of the Shepherds infecting the Sim and getting to Mother?

When grandmother talks she seems to tell the truth but in a way she knows they won't get the full meaning. The veil may have kept androids from lying as well as repress emotions.

So if there is time travel or something cyclical, could the text campion copied from the tree(tree of knowledge) end up becoming ancient text for future humans?

That was heartbreaking!!! But such a beautiful scene...I don't think weve heard that lullaby since Mother sang it to baby snake while it was in the womb....and the contrast between it being a song that can bring life, to using it to lure number 7 to it's death? So good. Great finale, but they needed to split this episode into 2 parts. Death of baby snake should have been the ending of one episode, then the next epsiode they could have spent time on Lucius's corruption by Sol, culminating in the inverted necromancer/Marcus for the finale.

The new tree looks like the ones in the painting from season 1 episode 2. They look like pillars or towers, but they are leafless, branches tree remains. Hell, the roots become the tentacles when it eats the tree, so it makes sense the fruit bearing parts would be consumed while the trunk and roots (not fit for human consumption) would remain behind. It's starting to look like the life cycle of a tick or parasite. Human grows, snake grows, human becomes tree, snake eats tree, snake dies after absorbing part of tree, altered trunk remains, human stapled to trunk, human... whatever happens next. It's an ecosystem using the bare minimum of participants.

@@FeyFire some channel named As Art? I think brought the painting up, but the leafless tree thing is in the background with the Sol symbol hitting it with juice and lighting it up. I think there are 4 trees total, one is red and the others are grayish.

I think Marcus is an inverted necromancer controlled by Sol. He is making the exact same pose as mother when she uses her necromancer ability to fly, except he is upside down.

I unfortunately don't agree that the entity and grandmother's goals are aligned. The sue tree seemed to be especially grown for the serpent to eat. The entity made mother pregnant with the serpent, but it had no control over it as they went to the shielded tropical zone. By eating the tree the serpent connected directly to the entity. Remember the entity told Campion to kill himself. So the serpent was probably under the entity's control, but was confused so shot his screams in the ocean. Grandmother on the other hand wanted the serpent dead as well, so completely opposite of the entity.

..so one thing that had me thinking..the veil grandmother 'lent' mother...and their POV toward what they do afterwards.. mother effectively uses the veil to eliminate no. 7, but afterwards voluntarily uses it as an oxytocodin so she can effectively watch after her children/collective and have no overwhelming/ reprecutions on her circuited emotions. Later we also get to see grandmother saying how 'overwhelming' and how she can't imaginemother and father did to raise the children under their care w/o a veil.. grandmother seemed like the strict principal at the school, though soo.. next season will grandmother understand mother's intentions of how to take care of the children? And release mother before its too late and they devolve? Those androids.. .. excellent ending to this season. I'll b posting more of my thoughts... so much to think about b4 next season-excelent video!

Yes I think grandmother without her vail will grow to attached to the kids and her emotions will get to her and have her eventually side with mother, but most likely by then it will be to late and the kids who didn’t eat of the fruit will have devolved.

I think grandmother's over riding programming will not allow her to change her actions around devolving the humans. That's the same reason mother shut down the Trust. The trust also based decisions on the best outcome and not based on emotions. Mother was reprogrammed with the ability to make decisions based on both out come and emotions by the original Campion.

@@greasher926 they made a point to show that grandmothers core objective is survival of human race and mothers is protecting the children. Grandmother seems to have biotechnology to regenerate growth where mothers was weapons so not sure if she will connect with children soulfully or not. Can’t wait to see.

Also, the Anti-Christ would be crucified inverted as Marcus was and he also received the “Lance” of Longinus/Lucius wound inverted. - The whole story seems to be unraveling as an inversion of Christian Mythology/Religion - Grandmother’s cowl/veil ended up becoming Mother’s burial shroud - Mother was a virgin during Campion’s miraculous birth and through her dark proton tears’ gave Campion the gift of ever-lasting life - The Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge, Grandmother is the path of Life, Mother and Father are the path of Knowledge - Another inversion, this time the Serpent devoured the fruit (and the whole tree) - The Serpents that originally existed on the planet were bound to the earth, whereas Seven (a sacred number associated with perfection and God) was free of original sin and retained the power of flight - The Tree that sprouted from Seven’s corpse appears to have become The Tree of Death (inversion) - There is a fine line between Good and Evil, and it appears to constantly shift - I think the fruit the colonists ate will help them devolve or lose knowledge - They say that technology will advance to the point that it appears as magic or The Power of God, obviously consciousness and technology on Kepler 22b has advanced to that point there way before humans “appeared” on Earth - Jesus had 12 disciples (brothers/siblings) as does Campion - Mother destroyed Paradise/Heaven on Earth by killing the Serpent (7), or you could say that the colonists have been kicked out of Eden - Vrille’s text and Campion’s incomplete copy may certainly become part of the New Genesis Bible, like the Gnostic Gospel of Mary - By the way, Vrill energy is weird rabbit hole to go down… - There are a lot of connections with numerology throughout the series - Striking down Seven is very similar to Satan’s expulsion from Heaven - Necromancers are magicians that raise the dead, Lamia raised Campion from death, and inversely was a killing machine on Earth - Inversions and dualities are abound in this series, yet the lines blur and reveal more complexities as time goes on, which is a legitimate critique of religions and humanities desire to make sense of life - Father’s jokes are a blatant homage or signal towards, amongst many others in the series, of Zen - Lucius is interchangeable with Lucifer, as is Longinus and Lucius - The devolved humans are similar to demons, live near the core (Which looked a lot like how Hell has been represented for hundreds of years) and for the most part, only come out at night - Mother, Father, and Seven ( A Trinity ) entered hell and then ascended into Paradise/Heaven the “Tropic Zone” - Inversion, the Atheist’s were already in Paradise, whereas the Mythraics crashed and perished in Purgatory, the cold, unprotected part of the planet… Lmao, I could go on and on and on for days, but yeah, this series is really fun and enjoyable work of art and hopefully will be recognized as the masterpiece that it is!!

@@FeyFire I was actually making a case for Marcus being the Inverse/Anti-Christ; Lucius (Which is the Polish name for Longinus) stabbed Marcus while he was crucified to make sure that he was dead, just like Longinus did to Jesus according to the myth. Another piece of evidence, Jesus was crucified with a crown (Yes, of thorns, but still crowned King of the Jews with it), whereas Marcus was crucified with an Executioner’s/Punisher’s Mask/Hood/Helmet. Again, the inverse correlation, a King brings life and prosperity to his kingdom, the Executioner brings pain and death. Human blood is red and Fuel Blood is white (like milk). Hindus revere milk, Christians red wine, which some believe to be the blood of Christ. Also, there is some the image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, from which shines rays of red and white light. The Cult of Mithras was incorporated into the Roman Christian religion. Mithras was born on December 25th, born the Son of God to a virgin mother, and rose from the dead. You can find statues of Mithras slaying the bull and look for the serpent. The Cult was a secret organization of Roman Generals and it is believed that they picked the emperors and were the true rulers of Rome. They blended Christianity with their beliefs to form a cultural psy-op to control the empire. Some believe they are still active and consist of the world’s elite… I haven’t read that book, but I am curious to have a look now, thank you. Vril energy is linked to the Nazi Occult, if I recall correctly??

@@ashe9318 From what I understand, there was a rumored Nazi cult of Vril, which was based on this book which many scholars consider to be an actual account versus fiction. It's about a subterranean culture which sounds similar to the Anunnaki, and utilize Vril which is similar to dark photon energy (closest thing I can briefly compare it too!). I love Mithraic mythology, excellent explanation! I made some videos about this last season. I felt like Otho was the bull, with the horned helmet, and shortly after his death came Number Seven. Marcus puts out a ton of Lion energy imo, along with the Mars of his namesake, so that can fit into the Sol/sun symbolism... Hmmm 🤔☀️🦁

@@FeyFire In the myth of Mithras, Sol Invictus bows before Mithras after he has slain the bull… so maybe that is a dead end… I really haven’t considered Otho’s significance, other than as an example how the “Word of God” can compel us to do things that may be considered evil, hence paradoxical ( Why would a God, who is good, command us to sin or do evil ) whilst also calling into question God’s plan for us all, ie “The Lord works in mysterious ways!” AFAIK there was a “scientist” that looked into Vril energy, claiming that is was based off of sexual tension, and could be amplified by standing naked in a “box” with foil lining, and other such nonsense… interesting, because Vrille was Campion’s first sexual tense experience or admission of non-familial love. Number Seven is so many myths and religious iconography wrapped into one, truly a character worth dissection, if you will pardon the pun. Have you noticed that a lot of the “relics” are reminiscent of cave paintings and also Mother’s foreshadowing of “List the ways that the number Five manifests itself in nature”?? Also, I believe that Marcus will be resurrected after a period of three days or passings, and will signal the opening to Hell, instead of Heaven as Jesus was prophesied to do.

I think the Entity tricked luscious into putting Marcus through that ceremony to turn Marcus into a True Believer. I mean a believer like one of those hooded figures we see in the visions. There is a technocrat card with an upside down man on it. I wonder if watched, it would show this ceremony Marcus just went through. The punisher mask is tech that works on Kepplar. I think during this ceremony and being that the snake gained flight abilities from mother, Marcus will also get mother's abilities.

I think hes not really a necromarcus'er but insteada cyborg, half human. Or a proto-necromancer. And I also think Sue did everything with her conciousness to help Marcus live, and then take revenge !

I hope we don't have to wait over a year for the next season.

Such a perfect touch!

I like the theory that the snake is a protector. I took him shooting at the ocean as a warning to campion to not go in, or a foreshadowing of having to retreat into the ocean. Romulus & Remus, one was killed by the brother, maybe 7 dying in front of Campion is meant to symbolize that.

The tree changed its shape so that it can be eaten by the snake, so it all seemed to be part of the plan. Sue‘s voice begged them to burn her, she knew what was coming and wanted to stop it.

Grandmother=Jacob Sol/Entity=Man in Black

Clearly GM is not alllied with Sol, if anything, it may be mother, if somewhat unwittenly. Afterall, she gave birth to Sol's serpent, allowed it to live and cause deaths. Sol also spared Mother. If mother was a mortal enemy to the Entity/Sol, why would it want mother saved? Instead a star on a veil is all you need to throw GM under the bus, lol. GM simply calculated that since it has been impossible to defeat the Entity/Sol, for whatever reason, better to do what has worked before, which was to devolved humans, which in turn results in the slumber of the entity/Sol. GM must have thought, if the technocrats and all others have not defeated the Entity/Sol, what chance has the rabble from earth got? So better to do what has worked, hence the statement " It equates" and "it is logical". GM is definitely not on the side of the entity/Sol. Maybe if mother was not to filled with emotions, she would have been able to present GM with an alternative solution that was viable and untried by GM. Now for tinfoil thinking, GM may be somewhat connected to the Entity/Sol like mother was connected to number 7. Maybe GM could not destroy the Entity/Sol because she is somehow connected like giving birth to the Entity/Sol or somehow sees the Entity/as something that should not be destroyed. That can explain why GM never suggested destroying the entity, instead wants it to go back to slumber. Secondly, if the Entity was such a pain to destroy, why not evacuate all humans from the planet, instead devolving them, and destroy the entity/Sol after? That way, No Sol, maybe No planet but the everlasting life of humans will remain. No rule said that the planet needed to survive. That is why I suspect there may be a link between Sol and GM but not in the way @Fey Fire thinks. Finally I think its unclear number 7 wanted to harm Campian. Number 7 had many chances to kill Campian but did not. From where Campian buried Vrill to when Campian was running for cover. Campian was clearly exposed but was not harmed. Number 7 also blast the water 3 times when one of the blasts could easily have been for Campian. Its clear for whatever reason, Number 7 was not ready to kill Campian. Question then is, why did number 7 attack mother? Maybe it was confused and retaliated to Mother trying to blast it. After that, Number 7 may have blamed Campian for mothers attitude toward it, hence the chase of Campian. Number 7 killing those people in the tank maybe from all the confusion and anger. This show leaves so many confusion everywhere, lol. Afterall, Number 7 never attacked mother in space, instead it rendered itself vulnerable to mother.

We know Grandmother's take on protecting human kind: devolution. Might be that Sol toying with humans to actually try evolving them, whatever that means for him... androids maybe? I remember when Paul was trapped into that cocoon, Mother said that's acually evolving. Or Sol is just some alien entity, trapped on Kepler, nothing else to do, just toying with humans because they are so delusional.

Yes, we all assumed the snake had violent intentions as well as the devolved acid- swimming beings and yet you make an important case that this was likely assumptions and wrong.

My understanding is the Serpent was good it ate the tree to prevent it from broadcasting in turn it weaponized it, it wasnt chasing Campion it was following him and it wanted to prevent Campion from entering the acid water that's why it screamed in the water I'm thinking, one thing that caught my ear was Grandmother refers to herself as a shepherd and father refers tom himself as a steward they are close in definition but vastly different and I wonder if that's what caused the original war the Android was built to be shepherds but then a "shepherd" wasnt exactly what the humans were looking for and reprogrammed them into Stewards and maybe Androids rebelled? What ever the case is the entity is more of a threat to Androids than humans I'm thinking I think it's what created the Androids, Marcus ate the fruit and was made pure, after death that is, Marcus now fits the description of a Necromancer more then lamia imo he practice wizardry in some ways and risen from the dead, I think now Marcus is the polar opposite of Mother it creates a balance but I see him being a zombie type "Necromancer" that will wreak havoc and Father will either find Mother and release her or Grandmother eventually adopts emotions "love" and has a change of heart or has no other choice but to release Mother to fight off Marcus that's how I pretty much see how season 3 plays out

Love this! Yes he sure is a Necromancer now, and very good point. Was this the fruit that caused this, or his blood mixed with Lamia's fuel blood (ticker + the eyes), or his ritualistic death upon the new tree? The only way to know if it was the fruit would be another death in the camp. So much to ponder over. I agree 💯 about the shepherd idea. There is a distinct difference in shepherd vs Steward vs farmer, as father also said. Grandmother has a much different mission than Mother and Father, but humans programmed and reprogrammed them (like Father's joke, gets better and better and better and better...).

@@FeyFire Dont have to ask me twice:) Odin hung himself from the tree of wisdom in a sacrifice to himself(arguably the world tree) to gain the knowledge of runes. Some interpretations have him hung upside down like Marcus.(also some scholars think this was late a Viking ages answer to christianity). There is also the world serpent Jormungandar son of Loke. And thats off the top off my head.:)

Great video. I was always a bit suss on Grandmother,🤔 It was very sad watching #7 die. I wanted Mother to take that vale off as soon as she was back on the T when Father tells her that Mother is going to wear it for just a little while longer to help with the emotions she will experience after killing #7 Grandma replied something along the lines of "she has" to me what she said was telling enough for me to think that Grandmother knew Mother didn't need the vale anymore and I also thought then that killing #7 was a mistake. I thought right away that Grandma's got a new badge!! She wants to run the show ☹I was totally suss on her six pointed games, i was hoping she'd put them aside but i guess its a market! I liked that she put the little girl's hand made model necklace of Mother the serpent killer, Mother the God around her neck after Grandmother gives her a talk on believing false Gods and with a very scary almost scary look on her face. I just hope Mother is able to escape or maybe be able to connect to something while in the hypo pod!! Cannot wait for the 3rd season

Agree, she was just assuming 7 was just like the snakes of the past but that 7 came from a reprogrammed care giving necromancer with emotions, this snake turned out way different.

How does Grandmother know what Father looks like without his veil? And I think Sol (Father) is Grandmothers partner locked in the core of the earth, there was some kind of disconnect between the 2 and she killed and trapped him same as Mother killing Father in season 1? just another one of my many theories that are probably me overthinking lol

I thought grandmother is an android gone awry, but she is distinct from Sol. Grandmother couldn't protect humans from the entity and so she started to "devolve" them in order to deminish the entity's potential hold over them. Perhaps this entity is Sol which may now control Travis. PS: grandmother did allow mother to kill the snake, Sol wouldn't have done that.

the serpent wasnt chasing campion. its was forcing him out to the water, it was doing this because it was doing its best to warn campion about the waters danger. serpent clearly fires its shots at the water, not at campion. had mother not gone into rambo-lullaby mode campion might have had time to figure it out. the serpent was good for humans i think and thats why it immediately bolted when it got the chance to destroy the tree. wondering if its possible that the real vrille and the original campion were somehow connected and thats why robot vrille and new campion are drawn to eachother. i think new campion may be a clone or the genetic son of original campion. decima was involved with making the weapons that destroyed the planet and real vrille hated what she was doing. so i think we can assume that A. she was also extremely smart and B. that she was probably trying to undermine her mothers work, so she easily could have been an insurgent of some kind for the athiests toward the end of the battle on earth

I like this a lot, especially considering Campion Sturges did something similar to Decima, which was play one side (Mithraic) and take the knowledge to the other (atheists), although I think Decima did the other way around - I can't specifically recall. However, knowing real Vrille was rebelling against her mother would definitely create opportunity for them to know each other.... LIKE WHAT IF CAMPION STURGES IS DADDY AND REAL VRILLE IS MOMMY? Holy shitballs, what did we just potentially discover?? And yes I 💯 agree about Number Seven, he was not chasing Campion. I think he was definitely warning him about the acid water or did not know it could harm humans. I don't think he needed to die. Freaking GM!! Old bit*h. 😂😂

I like your analysis, but you said Earth at least twice... perhaps your meant "ground", as we are on Kepler-22b. Also I think when Mother lured the snake to outer space, the snake was going to drain Mother of her fluid blood. That was not going to be an amicable exchange, else mother would have let him feed without concern. The snake was bad from the get go, and his death did not cause the weather to change. It was confirmed the weather changed because of the impact on the EMF from the battle.

'Earth' means planet Earth. 'earth' means the surface of the planet or dirt. And yes the weather did change because of the battle - a battle with a draconian being. It's simply a reference to ancient serpent mythology that AG is obviously quite well versed in.

I think Sol is trying to save the humans from Grandmother's programing, because as Mother said, "it's not right" although it's logical for human existence

I think you’ve GM and Sol mixed up. The believers and followers of Sol seemed to be the humans resisting the de-evolution of the species. GM obviously is for devolution. Also I think the devolution is physical- from the food- not for the game. I think the game is a reprogramming tool to help the humans accept the android ultimately deciding their fate (like the guy with the trust- he forgot who he was) the evolutions seem physical though. Paul’s was started by the biobomb and stopped by the leeches. The baby’s seemed to be a result of nursing from the creature. I do find t interesting that Paul’s couldn’t be stopped by traditional means but the baby’s could. And also it’s interesting that the biobomb came from the trust and he told mother that there was no cure (but sol informed sue that there was). And finally- the fruit of the tree of knowledge. We all think that fruit does something- I’d guess it protects the eaters of it from dehumanization. Notice it’s campion that’s presenting with these physical changes to become a water creature- and he didn’t eat the fruit. Biblically what that fruit gives is knowledge- and releases humans from their bliss and sets them out into a world of self determination where they have to work and struggle. GM wants to keep humans in a blissful, ignorant eden like state while sol seems to be moving towards the opposite.

@@BekbekE that could be it. It’s def somehow reacting to a certain level of human intelligence because GM said it would sleep if she devolved the humans. Also thought about this earlier- the tree and the sword. Marcus/Paul thought the snake was the sword. But if you look at Marcus, or mother upside down, they are swords. And mother is routinely referred to as the weapon. Just a thought. I know the necromancers were designed to fight something. Not sure what exactly though.

I actually really like this about the sword. The sword was needed to grow the Tree (Decima said this) and they believed the sword was mother's scalpel. But the sword could be Mother herself or Marcus in his evolved state.
