    @Bernie Vassallo I picked the Rad 6 Plus because it has all the good parts on it < i won't have to work on it to ride it < < I put tire protection in, and I got the rearview cam ? It is like the Cadillac E Bike and I keep moving along because people come out of the woodwork to ask Questions It is Big I love it and didn't have money to waste< Rad has an E Bike for most all riders < In Seattle, Washington you can try the bikes at their shop track < i put it in my truck and go to ride everywhere

    I have had my RadRover 5 for over a year and love it. When this new 6+ came out I was excited to get one, but after comparing it to the Aventon Aventure I decided that Aventon offered so much more for less money than Rad. I am not impressed with the 6+. I ordered a new Aventon Aventure in a green stepover mid frame.

    Hello and thanks. Before purchasing the RadRover 6 Plus can you please advise, will the currently sold RadRover 6 Plus still allow the customer to re-program the LCD to increase the top speed to 25 MPH and how will the fat tires ride primarily on concrete and asphalt ? Thanks and I'll use your linky for the purchase.

  • @EbikeEscape

    @EbikeEscape

    2 жыл бұрын

    Yes, absolutely: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Yq5quKhrfN27dJs.html Generally, the fat tires are going to be a bit louder and have more rolling resistance on hard surfaces. They also are a bit less nimble. With that being said a lot of people (including my dad) find the fat tires very comfortable even though they don't actually use them off road. Thanks for your support!

    Great video! Seems everyone else likes to PEDAL when they test these e-bikes. Makes it impossible to get any sense of the motors power. Do ebikes have regenerative braking at all? Wondering as I was originally considering an escooter, haven't seen any mention on this. Thanks for sharing!

    Regen is pointless imo. You get very little power back, And regen hub motors lose their clutch freewheel to create the resistance needed - Which is super annoying.

    I've had my Rad Rover 5 now for about 3 years with well over 3,000 miles. I had 2 flat tires in a row just this year so thought it was time to update. I just bought the Rad Rover 6 Plus featured here in you video brand new and it is still in it's box unopened. Before it arrived I got the flat tires fixed on the Rad Rover 5 and it seems to be working well. Now that it is almost September and we are getting some significant rain with muddy rail trails I have only been riding the Rad Rover 5 and have left the 6 plus brand new and left in the unopened box in the garage because I don't want to get this bike dirty like my 5 is now. My question is: Is it ok to just leave the unopened Rad Rover 6 Plus brand new in it's box and just wait until spring time next year to open it and will it be ok - or do I need to open the box before the winter comes and take (THE BATTERY) inside the house ? WE have an unheated garage and I live in Southeastern Michigan where during January and February the nights can get down between 0 - 15 degrees and daytime high's between 20-35 degrees for 2 months straight. Would the cold damage the battery ?

    i dont think it would be a good idea to let the battery drain fully and it might sitting for so many months. if nothing else take out the battery and charge it up all the way then let it sit. my 2 batts for the Lectric EXPedition came about 1/3rd charged even though Lectric states that the batts come 50-60% charged. i dont know how RAD ships their batts though.

    If you don't know how big it really is, go see one before buying. Still trying to send it back. Not knocking it. It's great for what it is, but too much to maneuver when turning around. Too heavy to get it in out of my truck. Too big to fit in trailer or on rack with other bikes. Great for the beach or if you have convenient or close access to trails. I'm downgrading to a Mini or Lectric 2.0 size bike. Also didn't feel comfortable in any position. Bars up, seat down, seat up, bars down or anywhere in between.

    To be honest, I am very disappointed in Rad Power Bikes. I had been planning to buy these bikes for a very long time. I also called yesterday, and spoke to your sales rep, who said that you guys won’t even ship parts out here to Hawaii. Do you realize that we are part of the United States too? I understand that there are restrictions on lithium ion batteries, I get that. But you can’t even ship parts here if I did have one? Maybe there needs to be a way to ship the bike, and parts and then send the Lithium iOn batteries via surface separately. I went down to my local bike shop and dropped $12k on 4 Giant E Bikes instead because they actually wanted my business. Rad Power Bikes, pull your head out of the sand and realize that Alaska and Hawaii exist too. Maybe it's time for us to stop doing business with Washington residents too. I am pissed off. Aloha

    I don't know why I've only ever seen one honest review of this bike in stock condition. And that was by the guy I think his channel's name is freaking Shredder or something like that. He was the only one honest enough to tell the truth, which is this bike is so underpowered, it only Max's at 750w can barely make it up small Hills unless you're pedaling intensely. Just giving the bike an honest review, you're just hurting your credibility. The bike is very underpowered and very overpriced, just like every other piece of junk that Rad sells.
