@@msumode4493 Actually, Matthew Perry suggested changes to the script that the writers preferred. Also, as someone else said, Matthew often improvised some of his best lines.

He looked better and healthier than he did in years! This is truly sad. He will be deeply missed by so many of us! !❤🦋

@@sethaldrich6902 I have had two friends that got clean and sober. They never followed that up with getting check up's on their hearts and damage done to the organs. One, several years ago about a year after he was sober, died of a heart attack. The other a few moths ago, about 2 years after she was sober, died from her liver shutting down. It's so important to follow up with checking that kind of stuff out after you get clean and sober. RIP to all of them.❤🦋

I was thinking the same. Considering all the health issues he’d had in the past few years he seemed to have recovered well. I grew up with Friends and saw the whole seasons AGAIN at least twice during the pandemic. It’s like losing someone you know. So so sad. 💔

I was actually watching those reruns they play back to back at night with my 12 year old. He had put it on and never seen it before, so I was explaining how chandler and Joey are one of best friends in television history. When my wife gasped because Matts death had been released on her feed….ouch man

The showrunners Kaufman and Crane often went to him when they were stumped on a punchline, and he was always able to offer up something hilarious on the spot. The classic "stop when you feel RESISTANCE" line is just one example. On top of that, his classic way in which he delivers lines (ex. "Could I BE wearing any more clothes") was entirely his idea, which he strayed from in further seasons because he felt it was getting old. He was truly brilliant.

As someone who also has been struggling with addiction, I would relapse over and over if media was following me around all the time. Rest in Peace Matthew.

Mattie has had problems with his colon since 2018 since he suffered a severe perforation which almost ended his life. He has silently & courageously struggled with the ongoing consequences & complications of this ever since. Since this happened, he has lived a very healthy, clean lifestyle as his near death experience was life changing for him and almost an “epiphany”. This is supported by no drugs being found by police at the scene. Mattie had moved beyond all that and had found a new peace (except for the constant press harassment) I don’t know for certain if this caused his tragic sudden death, but it is likely. He was the sweetest, gentlest and kindest of souls and I am heartbroken like you, and millions. X

Actually there is. Heaven and Hell are both very real and eternal. Sadly, we all are destined for hell, not because God is mean, but because He is just and we all have done wrong things in our lives so we would corrupt Heaven. But the good news is, God LOVES us all so much that He doesn't want us to be in Hell forever, so He made a way to PAY OUR FINE so to speak by replacing our eternal death in Hell with Jesus' death on the cross. Jesus is the perfect, sinless son of God, so His death on the cross was sufficient and everyone who believes that His death in our place will save us, and puts their faith in Jesus and follows Him, will go to Heaven after they die.

Never seen any movies or his TV shows but I've been thru addiction, went to a couple rehabs, been in trouble with the law, neighbors, family, lost friends, etc. Haven't had a drink since memorial day weekend, which was 2 years ago. Cravings are gone, brain, memory, focus improving. Still taking it one day at at time, making the most use of my time, enjoying what I have , and not always complaining about everything

I thought it was a hoax at first cus she always believes everything but when i went on to search it was true, my reaction at first wasnt sad, except it was denial, then shocked. And then there came the tears 😅

I watched Friends and like it a lot, still now. Chandler and Ross I liked the most. and when you see, how many times Matthew improvised in this show, that was wow.

it must be an awful pressure (for any celebrity) to deal with journalists, paparazzi, fans and 'fans' everywhere and constantly!

It's scary how we all walk around like we're fine but really don't know what's going on in our body inside. We may not know what happened to Matthew Perry yet but it just reminded me we can all just be gone at any minute unexpectedly. Have to remember to enjoy everyday we got.

Utterly shocking here to hear this. Guy is younger than me, he is too young to die. He had substance abuse problems for years and I guess it was everything he was abusing. Not all at the same time either. I liked his personality and wanted him to get right and bounce back heallthy and amazing! Unfortunately that did not happen. Sad Day. People like him who on somedays can make part of our day happy, are special people. Too many of these people like him, have also died too young. RIP my friend. You got a whole other group of people you can make laugh now
